ma23peas
We are cynical about Valentine's Day! Both of us believe it's a ploy for commercialism so it totally removes any romantic ideas....so we gleefully celebrate it by refusing to buy things for one another! So, I guess you could say we celebrate it by staying home and enjoying each other's company :)
In the Rain
We don't buy each other gifts for Valentine's Day. We usually have a nice dinner at home. This year I am thinking about making some chocolate dipped fruit for dessert since we are eating a little healthier.

SweetMissMagnolia
haven't even thought about it----I kind of feel like if he can't do something special for me on the other 364 days of the year then don't do it just because it's valentine's day--always tell him NOT to do anything but he does--will probably get him a goofy tshirt, chocolate and a card...not sure--
KAM
The kids and I usually make homemade peanut butter cups or macaroons for him. It started out because I forgot to get something one year, now the kids like doing it so we do it.
Daisy
By mutual agreement, we don't celebrate it. It just doesn't do it for us.
Soror
We are generally non-celebrators but might use it as a good excuse to score some free babysitting. We have gift cards from Christmas for movies and a restaurant so we might go out, or just an at home date is always nice. We like active dates as well but the weather is often up in the air this time of year.

MamaT
I give my DH his favourite kind of teA. That and a card. My dh is the romantic one, so I go look at cards and buy the one that is so sappy it makes me gag. He is thrilled.

DH and I always hated that card prices were so jacked up. On our anniversary and Vday we used to go to a card store and rifle through all the cards and hand the ones we would have gotten to each other. It was quite fun! :D
