Impish
Honest to Peter, normal families don't say this to each other... New entry in the blog. http://notastepfordlife.blogspot.com/

Parrothead
I can honestly see Wolf's POV. When I get bored I do strange thing to the hair on my head. (Yes, I had to specify. I know how this lot thinks.)
Mommee & Baba
:lol: Thanks for sharing! DH & I had a good little laugh together.
Carpe
I say that to DH all the time. But he doesn't ever keep just the mustache thank goodness.
Dustybug
I hate when my DH shaves his goatee too! He looks so..........weird. lol
Desert Rat
I feel your pain, Imp. I wish dh would grow back his goatee. He's clean shaven now but I don't like it. He's always had some sort of facial hair, even if it was just a soul patch. This will make you feel better. When we first met dh had handlebars (the moustache that goes all the way to the chin). It was so cool. The next week he shaved it all off. No! No! No! It was bad enough that I was 21 and dating a 19 yo. Without any facial hair he looked 15! It was down right indecent! I just looked at him (after I figured out that it was him at the door and not someone else) and told him in no uncertain terms that he must grow something back NOW. He did. :) And that's why I kept him. Maybe you can convince him to grow some back, Imp. Maybe.
GoVanGogh
I have reverse empathy for you. DH is in the process of growing out a beard, his first ever. He is nearing 50 and says he wanted to see what he looked like with a beard. :glare: He has problems with his skin and shaving, so I thought the unshaven look was just happening because of his long holiday weekend. Not so. He came home last Tuesday from work, still unshaven. I just stood there staring at him, at which point he proclaimed his plans to grow a beard. The Girls' Mom
Ack...I'd be tempted to shave him in his sleep if my dh attempted "just the mustache"! I'm with ya on the Tom Selleck thing! Of course I'd die from shock first. My dh hasn't been beardless for 19 years. I have forgotten what is under there
Abigail4476
 Thanks for sharing; that gave me quite a laugh. And yes, *normal* families say stuff like that. ;)
Mom-ninja.
My family does. They're German. They bluntly say what they are thinking. :) Be the duck. :grouphug:
momto2Cs
I totally feel your pain. My dh has always had a moustache and beard/goatee. Then, about 4 months ago, he shaved it ALL off as a surprise. I almost cried. Thank goodness he grew it all back! He decided he looked too much like his mom without it)
Impish
...And now he's clean shaven, after reading the blog entry. And saying he's going to stay that way for a while :glare:
joannqn
My DH does the same thing. I suggested this for his last shave and he actually did it. But he knows never to go to mustache only. Bad things will happen if he goes mustache only. Anything else is fine.
