What time of day do you usually try to get your errands in?

I like to get out the door later than 10A, 9A if possible get everything out of the way and be back by 12/1P then be done for the day.

after schoolwork for the day. Otherwise it is impossible to get back on track when I get home.

We have one car so it's after dh gets home. However, due to my "suffering" with no car he has taken over many errands for me. He's been very good about it all.

I only run errands once a week, and only when dh is home. So I go in the evening or early on Saturday.

With Atl traffic, we try to do them early and then do school in the afternoon. Sometimes this does not work and we just deal with the late afternoon traffic with a great audio bk.

Late afternoon or early evening - I try to tie them into my kid's activities.

In the mornings, the air conditioner in my car doesn't work in stop and go traffic, so I try to get it done before it gets hot.

I usually go in the afternoon when I'm out to pick up the kids from school anyway. Sometimes I go to the grocery store after dinner. Usually I procrastinate about errands.

I really try to push 'em off on dee-aitch. ;) Failing that, I try to combine errands on one afternoon a week.

The kids have 2 hour classes every week and when a show is in production, 4 hour rehearsals twice a week. Dh and I run errands during these times. It has been amazing...the teens have saved so much of their money since we do errands while they are in class/rehearsal. They haven't even spent their Christmas money yet. It frees up my school day to focus on school, too. Grocery shopping without teens...talk about a money saver!

Usually in the afternoon in conjunction with kid's activities - I grocery shop with my younges while the other 2 are at dance, for example. We combine trips as much as possible and since dh is out and about for his job sometimes I can get him to help me out.

if we didn't do our Official School Stuff before noon, it didn't get done. So I did errands in the early afternoon.

After school is done. I usually don't go until 3:00 or so. But, I don't have a ton of errands. I usually grocery shop when I am exercising early in the morning (6:00). I love going at that time.

Grocery shopping during dc's piano lessons. Other small errands before or after our Friday park day.

I usually go out around noon. I'm still drinking my coffee at 10am, and while I get dressed as soon as I'm out of bed, I don't have any makeup on my face first thing in the morning. And NO ONE wants to see THAT.

 

I try to be home by 2pm or so. I like to have the afternoon to finish school work with the boys and get everyone ready for sports, or get dinner started.

Me too, otherwise, I won't go. Traffic seriously picks up here in the afternoons / evenings both on the streets and in the stores which means I'd be out longer.

The kids have activities several afternoons a week so I do errands while I am out and about anyway.

I do all my errands on Satuday, mainly because we live 45 minutes from a Walmart and good grocery store. When I lived close to shopping, I spent so much money. This way, I save on gas and shopping. However, I do regret having to give up 5-6 hours every Saturday.
