Lisa in Jax
DD will graduate from the local high school of the arts next month, and yesterday was her senior vocal recital. Most of the other singers chose Italian arias and other serious classical pieces. My dd chose to forego the serious pieces and have a bit of fun. ;-) :D
eternalknot
My little girl just asked if we could watch it again :) it sounds like your daughter was a definite crowd-pleaser, and it's easy to see why! She has a sweet voice, and is definitely an entertainer. You have every right to be proud of this one! The ending cracked me up.

Halftime Hope
Bustin' buttons right there with ya'! What a great sense of herself to have picked something fun. That will get her a long way in both life and performance!

Belacqua
That was delightful. The expression on her face when she sings, "Three little maids" is hilarious; girl can act and sing! She looked beautiful, too.

FaithManor
I'm sooooo glad she had fun with it. Her facial expressions and gestures really helped make the song and I love to see seniors get the opportunity to show off their talents and yet let their "hair down" too. Jenny in Florida
I commend your daughter on her song choice. My son and I went to a lunchtime recital a couple of months ago at which one of the women sang that piece, and I laughed so much I think I embarrassed my kid!
