sunshine
I just had a friend post on facebook that there are 3 types of people in the world. Those that wait for things to happen; some that makes things happen; and those that wonder how things happen. So, which are YOU?
Jean in Newcastle
It depends on the thing! I only make things happen if it's high enough on my priority list. . .
Thea
Hmmm, I'd like to think I'm a make things happen kind of gal, but the reality is I'm probably more of a waiter.
LG Gone Wild
I am definitely in the last category. My dh makes stuff happen. I am clueless, he's proactive so I guess we balance each other out.
Kareni
Ah, I'd heard there are three kinds of people: those who can count and those who can't. Regards, Kareni

Stacie
None of the above... I usually try to figure out what the heck just happened. Such is life with four active boys.
Nicole M
Ah, I'd heard there are three kinds of people: those who can count and those who can't. Regards, Kareni A friend of mine has a daughter in high school. He, the friend, was sent on a mission to the teacher conferences, to speak particularly to the math teacher, who was giving out extra credit to the kids whose parents showed up. The conferences were in the gym, and it was loud and chaotic, and there were long lines with lots of grumpy parents leading to tables with grumpy teachers. So my friend gets to the table with the extra-credit-math-teacher and said just that, about two kinds of people, those who can count and those who can't. The teacher just looked at him and said, "But that's only two."
StephanieZ
I just had a friend post on facebook that there are 3 types of people in the world. Those that wait for things to happen; some that makes things happen; and those that wonder how things happen. So, which are YOU? definitely a "makes things happen" gal, but would probably rather be a "wonder" person as it just sounds more appealing. But, I'm a do-er to the core. Tap
When I am at work...I make things happen. When it comes to the kids...I wait and watch, I try to follow their lead. When I am in 'make it happen mode' I tuck my head down, get very quiet and barrel through what ever my goal is. I am not patient with other people so I can't be around little kiddos (or big kiddos) who have feelings that get hurt easily. I am two very different people at home and at work. Harriet Vane
For most things, someone who makes things happen. With regard to housecleaning, though, definitely someone who wonders how things happened! :001_huh:

KidsHappen
I am definitely a wonderer. I have no time to make things happen because I am always busy trying to figure out what has already happened. :tongue_smilie:

angela in ohio
I've always thought there are two kinds. Those that do and those that complain about what is done. :001_smile:
Happy
I've always thought there are two kinds. Those that do and those that complain about what is done. :001_smile: Ah, yes, I know these people. I'm a make things happen girl--mostly. I wish I were even more that way, too. mcconnellboys
Hmmmm, for those things I'm not interested in getting involved in, I might wait and/or wonder. For those things I really want to happen, I tend to roll up my sleeves and just do it.....
Michelle My Bell
My husband and I are both "Make things happen" type people. Some examples are we hosted a homeschool family camp a few years ago, planning every detail, I started a homeschool group with a couple of other mom's 2 years ago and my husband is currently a church planter.
