Congratulations! This is for a SN adoption, right? Has your agency given you an estimated time until you're matched? When we were waiting for our youngest (both our daughters are from China, youngest is SN), our agency told us about 12-18 months to be matched and we were surprised to be matched in only six months! We have two blogs, one for each daughter. Neither of them are "live," as we just used them to keep friends and relatives updated on our trips. DD3 has an alphabet placemat and DD5 has a map of the U.S. She enjoys showing off her knowledge of U.S. geography by saying things like: "Mama, did you know there is an island of dried cranberries off the coast of Florida?"

My DD3 will turn 4 in November and I plan to start her this fall with the R&S About Three workbook, Kumon workbooks, and Building Thinking Skills Beginning. She will also start joining in with DD5 during bible study and nature study.

My 3 and 5 year old both get about 11 hours of sleep every night (usually 8:30pm-7:30am). The 3 year old sometimes takes a 1-2 hour nap in the afternoon.

DD5 will start her official K year in late August. Most of what we will be doing will just be a continuation of the work she has been doing this year. She has an October birthday and will be an older K. Fruit, pretzels, baby carrots, string cheese, graham crackers, Nutrigrain bars, granola bars, yogurt, muffins, and cheese and crackers are our standbys. Sometimes I'll bake a treat for a snack. For example, today I made homemade chocolate chip granola bars.
