  1. My son was just diagnosed with PANS.Pandas is caused by strep but pans can be caused by lots of different types of infections and even environmental stressors. It is something to look at closely. I would start by googling pandas network site.

    Diva cup

When I was reading the reviews on Amazon and someone mentioned the same problem they said to turn it inside out(I think) and that fixed the problem.
  3. I'm also homozygous and have felt a huge difference in my energy since starting treatment. I just sent my dd(22yo) some vitamims to try too. She had been battling cfs since she was 16 and I'm sure it's going to be the answer for her too. I just wish we had a doctor to work with. I'm doing this on my own. Glad to hear your dd is feeling better. I might have to pm you about this and find out exactly what your doctor is dong for your dd, if you don't mind.
  4. I have no idea why vitamin d levels are so low but last year I spent a month in Arizona and most days at the pool, and when I came back and had my vitamin d level tested I was extremely low. I'm also part Hispanic, just fyi.
  5. I think a lot of people have a mutation problem and don't realize it and/or how much it affects their health.
  6. A friend of mine that is a nurse at a children's hospital here in Atlanta said they have a program where you can go in and hold babies. That is something I would love to do.
  7. I googled it and found it. Looks interesting. Pleygo.com
  8. My boys love the thebajancanadian. My ds says there is a little language on his videos but not a lot, unless ASFjerome is on a video with him.
  9. I've been doing it for awhile and love it. I have a few friends that have lost weight on it and look great. It does have a major learning curve but it's so worth it. The Facebook group is extremely helpful. We also have several ladies at church doing it too, so it's nice to have support.

    truvia??

I have heard you can make your own and it's supposed to be cheaper and non GMO. You might try googling it.
  11. I would love to live in Peachtree City or maybe Senoia. We go to church in Fayetteville and just bought land out there. I think there was a charter school in Tyrone but I will have to check to see if there still is one. Where will your husband be working? That would make a difference to me on how far out I would move. just fyi: Walking Dead is filmed in Senoia.
  12. I took my boys in the bathroom with me until they were about 8. At 8, they didn't want to go into the ladies bathroom because they were embarrassed. (they were really tall for their age) I would make them go in together into the men's restroom. A friend of mine said she would make sure no one was in the men's restroom and let her boys go in and if a man came up while her boys were in the bathroom. she would ask them to wait just a minute for her boys to come out and she said no one ever minded, or at least acted like they didn't.
  13. Thanks for sharing this! That's the recipe I use from THM but now I know why they aren't fluffy. I was watching Good Morning America and Chris Powell mentioned this recipe for losing weight. I thought that was kind of cool.
  14. I don't know how or why it causes weight gain but I took that medicine for headaches too 15 years ago and the doctor who prescribed it said I would probably gain about 15 pounds which was fine since I had always tried to gain weight. Well I ended up gaining 42 and have struggled ever since with taking weight off. I was only on the meds for about 2-3 months. I think it messes up the metabolism. I have started trim healthy mama and this is the first time I've been able to lose weight on my own.
  15. I agree with Michelle! I am doing trim healthy mama too and have lost 7 pounds so far and have only been on the plan for 4 weeks. I have never been able to lose more than 3 pounds in my own. I tried to do hflc on my own and I couldn't figure it out until I started trim healthy mama. I love their plan and the foods I get to eat!
  16. I take the hemeplex too, with no problems. I have been doing the trim healthy mama diet for about a month now aand had the lightest period ever. usually my periods are very heavy and painful. I am not sure if it's the diet that helped my period since it is HFLC or if it's drinking a quart of water with ginger, apple cider vinegar, and lemon. Either way, I am hoping the next one will be very light too. I read somewhere that apple cider vinegar can lessen bleeding. I use Bragg's apple cider vinegar.
  17. I have a lot of lower back pain too. I have gone to the chiropractor off and on, but not sure if ithelped or not. I started doing kettle bell exercises and it is so much better. be careful that when you start you don't overdo it and make things worse. Before starting the kettle bells, I couldn't vacuum, or mop, clean the bathtub or pick up anything heavy without pulling my back. I love the kettle bells because I can tell they are strengthening my core and I don't have to do crunches or anything like that which I despise doing.
  18. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0009ZBKG4/ref=mw_dp_sim_ps2?pi=SL500_SY125 This works great for our lab/retriever mix. Even my youngest can walk her as long as she wears it.
  19. This was my youngest! Couldn't believe how long it lasted and nothing helped! In the beginning no one could sleep because we all could hear him cough.all. night. long.
  20. Ok, I couldn't figure it out, but did recognize it once you gave the answer.
  21. Chicken stir fry over rice? We do use substitutes like gluten free crackers with tuna or Pioneer Woman's pico de gallo with gluten free corn chips. We also like quinoa salads. I have found a few quinoa salad recipes on Pinterest.
  22. Love all the trees! Thanks for starting this thread! Yay, I finally got my picture to post.
  23. Just saw that the kindle for $129 comes with ads so if you don't want ads you have to pay $15 more.
