I think maybe some people are talking about integrating many things into literature because that's what some "Circe-ish" bloggers (such as Amongst Lovely Things) and other homeschool moms talk about being one of the keys to simplifying your curriculum and teaching from a state of rest. For example, on Amongst Lovely Things, integrating into literature is a big part of this post below: http://www.amongstlovelythings.com/2014/03/simplify-the-curriculum.html However, on the Circe site, they talk about the importance of integrating in a totally different way. They talk about integrating all teaching in Christ: http://www.circeinstitute.org/principles-classical-education I'm guessing that's why there's some confusion about what's being asked and what's being answered. (Or maybe not :) )

Moxie didn't say in the original post that she was going to use "no materials" and pull it all out of her head. She said that they'd be reading science books. Though personally I would do more than that, it's not like she said they were going to use nothing for science. And I'm not sure why several people think she said she is going to falsify the transcripts. She didn't say that. She was just asking about how much detail is included on a transcript.

I understand that you can keep it on your computer just like any other file. It's just not in the pdf format. So you need Kno to view it instead of viewing it with Adobe Reader.

Did she just recently change the name from Language Lessons Through Literature to English Lessons Through Literature? Did anything change other than the name?

I ordered LoF from them in mid Feb. I wrote to them in early March about it and then received the books later in March. I'm in a similar situation. My oldest son is 5 1/2 (plus I have three 4-year-olds). We'll be doing Adventures in America for his 1st grade year and then SOTW 1 the following year. I'm trying to do history (as well as everything else but math/phonics) as a group.

Are any of you using it with kindergarteners? I am think of using it next year for my kids who will be K/1. Should I wait another year?

I love the idea of having all this prepped for me, and the crafts look so cute. I have three 4-year-olds and a 5-year-old. Unfortunately, I don't think I spring $75 a month to get four kits. Maybe I'll just order two or something and split them up.
