  1. I'm posting on Instagram with #dailysliceofjoy2016, maybe we can do #project366 for this challenge
  2. We are starting on the fourth. I can't wait, this move has given me back about 7 pounds that I'm not too fond of. We don't make the kids do it either, they eat what I cook but they may also have cereal for breakfast or sandwiches for lunch or whatever.
  3. I love mine too! Because we just moved, it was a dang life saver when I didn't have my household goods. My favorite thing so far from it was this Vietnamese soup, though next time I'll change it to beef after I make the stock. http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2015/01/30-minute-pressure-cooker-pho-ga-recipe.html
  4. Oh yeah, I'm in, I'm doing something similar with my bff, so I'll combine them. Fun!
  5. My cat This gorgeous new day planner that I really enjoy using My house, we just bought our first, and I've spent the last 4 weeks painting and making it mine and it just makes me so happy My toddler and his love of dragons My big kids unpacked and organized the toddlers room for no reason on a day when I was bone tired Pedicures
  6. What is this? I may be interested. :D
  7. My general goal is 50 books this year but I think I'm going to do this too! Thanks for posting.
  8. I decided on present, I kept coming back to it, so it seemed like it would fit. I just want to be a bit more in the now, a bit less attached to devices and the Internet. Just be present.
  9. If I remember correctly, you make 2 of each and there were maybe 10 or so, plus a handful of lunches and breakfasts.
  10. DH and I are doing another round starting Jan 4. It's becoming a new year tradition for us. I highly recommend both Well Fed cookbooks and Nom Nom Paleo, as well as the new Whole 30 book, and It Starts With Food, which I'm sure is the reason I've made it through, it tells the whys, and also helps give motivation. I've done daily cooking and the big weekly prep, they both worked well for me, but the weekly prep on Nom Nom Paleo sure makes things easier.
  11. I did it a few years ago, the recipes were really good for the most part, but I wasn't a fan of doing 12+ hours of cooking in one go, with dh helping me. It was A LOT of work. Having so many meals ready to go was great though.
  12. I don't know, I have RBF too, I don't make much effort about it when I'm at home but out and about I try to soften it a little. It's a curse from my mom.
  13. I haven't checked that in awhile, time to get back on track after this long overseas move.
  14. I'm semisweetgyrl over there, I have mostly healthy recipes, and tag Whole30 a bit.
  15. I normally take it down the day after Christmas, the clutter just drives me batty after awhile, and I dislike how trees look without presents underneath. This year though, we haven't actually done our Christmas yet because dh is away and will be back on the 2nd, so that's when we will celebrate and I'll take it down the following day.
  16. I use MFP and sync with FitBit, never had any issues except the occasional user error.
  17. My husband is very handsome. Tall, dark, and broad shouldered, big enough to make me feel protected. He's got a little bit of geeky look going on, which works well because he is one. He has lovely lips, and a nice voice. But best of all, he's hilarious, which is always my number one trait. We've been apart for almost a month now, this is making me miss him more. :)
  18. I like this idea. I'm going to have to think on it a bit though.
  19. My husband has seen me range from 155 (thin-ish for me and my preferred weight) to 235 (9 months pregnant). I have never noticed any difference in the way he appears to see me. He still wants lots of alone time, still compliments me, and always makes me feel like the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. Not once has he ever implied that he'd like me to lose weight, in fact he joins right on in, whether I'm gaining or losing haha, though being active duty military he has to maintain some fitness.
  20. Sounds amazing! What time should we be there? :p
  21. The Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson. They aren't teen specific, but dh and I and ds12 all loved them. He has more now, but the first 3 are the root of the series.
  22. Anything from the Nutcracker, I first saw it live two years ago and have gone every year since, this year we get to see the Moscow ballet perform and I can't wait. I'm atheist but Hark the Herald Angels Sing does things to me. I adore that song. I love Christmas music though, I've been listening almost nonstop for about a week now. :D
  23. We just bought a house, so I'm buying various furniture and decor, painting and all that. So dh and I are just doing pajamas and stockings this year for each other. I'm hoping for a new coffee mug in my stocking to go on my coffee bar and some punjammies.
