How fun! I didn't get to hear either of them last weekend (too much time at SWB's sessions!)...maybe next year. I did talk with Dr. Perrin at his booth, and he was very gracious. I don't think it would be weird at all to have him sign your book. BTW, I was just reading your reviews of LFC (from way back). Is it still working out well for you guys? It's at the top of my list for next year's after looking at it at the convention!

I am staying on the north side of town, so haven't looked at downtown hotels. Have you tried Hotwire or Priceline? My friends got a great price (on the north side, though) on a room through Hotwire. Me, me!!! :thumbup: I've never been to a big convention before. I can't believe all of the speakers. I'd like to get in as many of Susan's workshops as possible, but there are a lot of other speakers that look good as well! And then there's the convention hall. When do I sleep? I do hope we can all get together with Susan. I'd love to meet some fellow hive members!

I've heard that Goodwill and second-hand stores can be great for getting formal dresses. No experience myself, but one of my friends found a beautiful bridesmaid dress at Goodwill for next to nothing.
