We all draw names @ Thanksgiving, and then have to make or do something nice for the person we drew. It's fun!

My bestie has been a teacher for years,(she's actually finishing up her master's for special ed), and I was very pleasantly surprised by her reaction. She gets it. :-) eta: and my uncle(school counslor) and my auntie(teacher) are extremely supportive.

this is what happened to us, but in a not nice way :sad:

:iagree: yes, your story sounds very similar to a friend of mine. It didn't get better until the hubby switched drs AND the started counseling thru a church. took some months, but so much better now.

I just bought it from the homeschool co-op six weeks ago......I put my ds in as "behind" so Dreambox has him starting two grades back. He enjoys it. He plays it for about 15 min. 2-4 times a week.

Appeal it. In writing. When I was admitted to a hospital my insurance (Kaiser) didn't take because I was in another state, I had to have emergency surgery. Kaiser fought me. They wanted me to fly back to my home state. Ha! Yea right ....All the darn office managers from the various drs threatened to ruin our credit, said pay it and they'd reimburse me, blah blah blah. I kept excellent records, called once a month (all TWELVE of them), and sent copies of my correspondence with my insurance to all the office managers. Really p***ed them off too. :D Nine months later, I won.

My awesome, amazing MIL refers to herself as "Mom". I still call her by her name. :blush: just.can't.do.it. My Mother is still annoyed that I started calling my stepmom "Mom" over twenty years ago. :001_rolleyes: I rarely talk to my FIL (:D) and my MIL's hubby I call by his name. eta: dh calls my mom "mom" and she thinks of him as her son.
