Read your comment about Grayson's birth. I say the same thing all the time too (so does one of my dds)!! :001_wub: Dh thinks it's gross. :glare: Sigh. Well pooh on him.

Howdy yourself!! Awww, that's so great. Those little guys must fill your hearts with so much joy ... and mischief. Things are really good for us. We're up to 5 now and the babe is already four months old now. Goes by so fast. Sniff sniff. I'm just trying to love every minute of it and soak it all in.

Janet in Toronto stole 21 cookies from the cookie jar!
Rules of the game: if you find this (anyone except the cookie thief themselves) then post here to say "I caught the cookie thief! BUT... someone else took two cookies from the cookie jar!" That way we know this player has been caught and we'll look on another profile. Next, copy this entire post and paste it onto someone else's profile (player must have more than 100 posts and must have been active in the last month.) Lastly, change the type in red so that the numbers each increase by one. It will be easier to track that way. Please post your findings in the thread entitled SOMEONE STOLE A COOKIE! Forum Game. Have Fun!

Ugh. My food allergic children vomit repeatedly when their allergens are ingested too. :( They keep going until every last bit is out. It's horrible. I feel so bad for them but haven't found a way to stop it if they accidentally ingest the food. Just wait 4 hours for the reaction. Ugh. What's your dd allergic to? Is she the same way? I don't know anybody IRL who has kids who react like this to certain foods.

Me too. I think Jean posted the next clue. I'm so confused.
Hi MARIANN!!!!

LOL. Oh, one of mine likes crayons- but only the crayons that you get free from restaurants- you know the kind that come in little clear baggies and only have 3 colors? It's not like we eat out a lot but with 5 kids, those sets have sort of accumulated over the years. Said child likes to open those all. the time. and use them so I have about a billion red, blue, and yellow crayons and few of any other color. :glare:
Reality is, the boys prefer paint. I guess the messier the better around here.

So, how does one sharpen those bad boys? (the fat pencil crayons you linked) Do I need a special sharpener too? Yeesh. Why can't my boys just like to color? :001_rolleyes:

Did I read correctly that you used Exploration Education with your ds (or was it dd?) Ugh. I don't even know what you have. :tongue_smilie: Obviously I'm not stalking you ;) (or doing a good job of it if I am :w00t:)
Anyways- did you use that program? Would you mind telling me what grade you used it for? IIRC, you wrote that you upgraded to the advanced level, right? I'll be using it for 5th for a first time exposure to physics with an advanced child (though not mathematically inclined in any way :glare: ) and am not sure if I should get the standard or advanced level. Is there a big difference between the two?

Hi! I was wondering if you'd be willing to link the HOD article that talks about why they are not switching to SM Standards ed. I'd be very interested to hear. I posted a similar question a while back, if you're interest in those responses. :) I'm still trying to make a decision.

Holy cuteness!!!! Your little Will is absolutely adorable!! :001_wub: Congrats and enjoy him!!! And oh my! The read hair!!! :001_wub:

Do you happen to have a plan as to how you're going to combine the Oxford series with Suzanne Art books? :D I'd love to see it if you do! What else do you plan to use? ;) Wait. I don't know if my budget can handle a response to this.
Please do let me know if you ever have a chance to outline from both those books. I'd be really interested to hear your opinion of working with both. Ack. I can't seem to get it together for next year. :glare:

Hi! Thanks for the reply on RS! I see that you use Nallenart with your dd. Is it because she is too young for RS? What skills would you say they need to use the program? Will you continue with Nallenart or will you her over to RS? Oh, and I have a 5 and 6yo too- do you think I should get them Nallenart as a good starter base for RS or do you think I can save my money and jump in with Rosetta when the time is right? Thanks! (sorry for all the questions) ~Jane
