Ow! Ow! Ow! Poor kid!
When I was being taught to quilt the gal who was teaching me said 1. Only cut your fabric while the kids are out of the house. 2. If you do cut yourself, take the fabric, wrap the cut with it and call 911 and 2. Never talk to some one while cutting the fabric. Of course she said it while talking to me and cutting my fabric. I am almost terrified to use the thing now.
My husband had the nerve to suggest that we have brown rice instead of mashed potatoes! :svengo: I have the mashed potatoe issue. :drool5: This year I am going to try make ahead potatoes.
My dd13 is a primper. So we got her some snazzy looking slippers(she is always cold), a pair of pj bottoms, a hair straightener and new ear buds. Not done yet, though.
Ha! Thanks 5 I needed the humor. No, we are just getting a wind storm. Funny thing though, our power usually doesn't go out in wind storms. Not good timing.
No we won't be going into all the details with our dc. I did tell them it happened. We have a ten year old that gets very anxious about things involving death and serious illness, especially when it happens to kids.
Ok, I am really looking forward to Friday! My ds16 and I are going to play hooky in the morning and go see the movie and then go out for lunch with a gift card he won!
Who else is tempted or is planning to play hooky on Friday?
Nope. You are not the only one. I don't even make it to two before I hit the wall. My very busy, energetic, creative, clever, strong willed three year old and his older siblings suck the energy right out of me!
Hoping to put ours up this weekend. We spend Thanksgiving weekend with the ILs and put their tree up for them then but by the time we get home there is usually no time to put ours up.
