So bummed. My grandma passed away this morning (long battle with dimensia, so a blessing in a way, but I'm still sad). To make matters worse, the funeral will be on the day of the Renaissance Festival. Kids have been working on their costumes for weeks. :(

How close are you to her? If you're very close, I'd probably ask questions and listen, and then decide. Find out why she decided to switch and what she hopes to accomplish. Maybe Paces is just what she needs for a season--or maybe there's something she misunderstands about it. I'd want a close friend to listen and understand my reasons, to pray, and to gently let me know if something might be different than what I expect.

I feel like a 10,000 pound weight has been lifted off my shoulders. The first person I've let have the tiniest sneak peek of my book loved it. I believe having chills reading one of the entries was mentioned as well. Just the motivation I needed to finishing typing it all up and send to the publisher this weekend.
