  1. I always use regular nail clippers on my cat.
  2. You can print through Paypal via this link: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_ship-now It lets you print Priority, First Class, Media, etc., and they do count as pre-printed because they can be traced back electronically to the sender.
  3. I haven't used it for infertility, but have been going for the last 8 years for sinus/allergies. Before that, I had to take decongestants almost daily. I haven't taken any meds for them since I started going.
  4. I agree - and I'd just be concerned about him being with someone who your ex says hates him. That's very troubling.
  5. And I bought the biggest, standard type mailbox I could find to try to minimize the trouble for my carrier.
  6. I try to do natural products for many things, but have stuck with Tide Free (powder) for years and years. It does a good job and I use less than half of what it recommends on the box.
  7. I agree - I've used Vitex for many years now to help balance my hormones. It's an adaptogen (I believe that's what it's called) and works to correct imbalances.
  8. Well, I went with information I got from my uncle, who is postmaster in another state. He always had a big wooden box on the porch for mail packages that wouldn't fit in the mailbox, and that's what he told me (that packages weren't supposed to be left out in the elements, or right in sight where someone might take them). And maybe that was all *his* interpretation of the rules, but the woman I spoke to in USPS corporate agreed with me and my request, and was appalled that the packages were being rubberbanded to the mailbox.
  9. I do think it depends on the carrier, though, how willing they are to actually do what they are supposed to do. I've had issues here with my carrier (truck route) strapping packages too large for the mailbox, onto the outside of the mailbox with rubberbands. . .I put a note inside requesting that packages too big be brought to the porch and left, which didn't work, until I got people higher up involved. And even then, I got a not-so-nice call from the local postmaster (or someone at the post office here) that wasn't pleased about me requesting my mail not be strapped to the outside of the box, out in the weather - that they didn't have time to be bringing stuff to the door and waiting for me to answer (and I'd watched the rubberband thing - it took longer than walking the package to the door). I didn't want them to wait, just put the package on the porch. My packages are left on the porch now, but it took quite a bit of effort on my part to get it done.
  10. I wonder if it's a real rule, or just the carriers' interpretations? I always have read (and thought) that it was per package and only applied if you used stamps and not electronic postage. I use Paypal shipping for my PBS books, and have never had an issue with any size package going out. Stamps.com page I found searching says it's just for stamped mail: http://blog.stamps.com/2011/03/15/usps-13-ounce-mail-rule/
  11. You might look into Decent Exposures - I have some underwire bras that I sometimes wear, but these are my staple bras. No wires, supportive, but very comfortable, and they will refit them for you for free (you order the size you think you need, get it and try it on and if it needs adjustments, you can send it back for free. They'll also take the bra back if you get it and just decide you don't like it.) http://decentexposures.com/
  12. I don't know of any fees besides late fees, which are 25 cents per day per book. I know there aren't any fees to put items on hold.
  13. That's totally how I feel, and it gets to dh sometimes. He likes going out and if it were up to him, we'd eat out more. But I can't help think of the cost, where the money is going to come from (something else has to be cut to pay for it), and it makes it difficult for me to relax and enjoy it. Plus if the food isn't really good, it makes the experience that much worse - I know I could have done a much better job.
  14. It will show up on your Amazon Local page under Vouchers.
  15. I think so. I've had some in the frig longer than a week and have used it. I'd make sure it looks and smells OK, but 9 days really isn't that much longer than recommended.
  16. I said about once a month. Dh eats out often for business lunches and just because it's easier when he's at work, but as a family, it's not that often. There are very few places I like enough to spend the money - I can make most things I like better and cheaper at home.
  17. The kids here roam, and I allow mine to do that within guidelines. They have to check in and dd isn't allowed to go to the park or to the school playground alone yet (she has to have her brother along). They're also not allowed in anyone else's house, or in their backyards (I want to be able to find them if I need to). Along those lines, I don't let any other children in my house, or backyard (I've made exceptions for my kids to show their friends our chickens, but they don't just stay in the back and play there).
  18. I do, too. I slice up the loaves after they cool and put as much fits in a gallon bag, leave one bag out and freeze the rest.
  19. You can put them in the ground a couple weeks before your last frost date, however, if it freezes after they've started to grow above ground, it will set them back.
  20. I've had a recurring ulcer for a number of years, but finally figured out that the gel caps make it extremely upset and cause a lot of pain. I had forgotten that fact and started taking a higher dosage of magnesium (in gel caps) and was having horrible stomach pain and finally realized that it was probably because of the pills. I've since switched to a tablet form and it's made a huge difference, but the l-glutamine also helps a lot as I'm getting older and having more hormonal GI issues.
  21. You might look into l-glutamine for the stomach pain - I have been using it for a few months now and it has really helped. One thing that was making my stomach pain worse was some of my supplements were in gelatin capsules and they seem to tear up my stomach.
  22. I would think it would be fine in that pan at the same temp for about the same amount of time, since it would be about the same thickness as the 9x9 cake.
  23. Electric fence? I really don't know - I've never raised cows.
