Flooring. Finish office subfloor, get flooring on top of that, move on to baseboard trim as time allows.

Tall height toilet and tall (kitchen counter height) vanity top my list. Adding bracing for support bars to be added lader into the stud walls would also be nice. And then other accessibility features as space allows (shower, doorway widths, etc)

Made solid progress on the basement flooring. It was work, but we are so close to being able to move the teens down into the new space. Then we can finally clean up/get the rest of the house back in order for the holidays.

Yesterday, went for a walk. Today, picked up a salad for lunch at a gas station so I didn't have to take the time to make one, ordered a grocery delivery and hopefully go for a walk again.

That all sounds so stressful. Re: clothing for your trip, I'd bring stocking hats and gloves as it can be windy in SD, combined with the temps, it can be quite cool...depends on if the sun is out IMO.

Working on flooring. Kids are meeting up with friends today, they will have to mow/mulch leaves this afternoon. I start a new term tomorrow, not fully prepared, only about half of my students are new to my classes, so not sure how I want to start us off, plus I have to enter grades in from last term.

Happy birthday, Reader! Eating leftover chicken curry for supper. Have to pick up youngest at 8 from play practice. Eldest is heading to civil Air patrol color guard practice stone, but gets a ride. Eldest got braces off today. Senior and family pics this weekend.

Made instant pot chicken curry for supper, ordered a few items on sale (loop earplugs, black pants eldest needed, really exciting things)

I might pick up some loop ear plugs. I bought some for eldest and liked them when I tried them at a brewery.

Respawn gaming chair at Menards. It is $100 cheaper than Amazon currently.

Won't do the kayaks today... Did go get insulated subfloor panels... That should solve the egress height thing the inspector got hung up on. He didn't really look at anything else and made a big deal about an inch when we didn't have flooring in (because that was not requirement for the final inspection). Once that is in, it will be more than fine

Figure out if we are putting a subfloor in the basement. Look at family photo clothes options. Go with eldest to an activity they have so they can learn the route to drive solo for future meetings. Helps alleviate anxiety when having to go to an unknown part of the metro. DH and I may then hit up a brewery while waiting for the activity to finish. Possibly bring kayaks to SILs for winter storage in her garage.

Forced eldest to go on a walk...they are in a walking class, so they need the miles and the fresh air didn't hurt. Now watching Virgin River.

We've done some putzing around the house stuff today. DH and I went to a vintage festival. Got the big one a haircut, but it didn't go as planned ... hopefully we can remedy that before senior/family pictures next weekend. Making chili in the instant pot after we arrive home. Just picked up youngest from all day play practice.

So we passed final inspection, but the existing window is too high so they said it wouldn't be a legal bedroom, but he was going to go talk to the other guy. Crossing fingers they just call it a bedroom. It was built in 1972...only so much you can do with that.

On our way home from picking up the flooring. Thankfully we caught a break from the sprinkles that have been happening today.

I took today off ... I needed a mental health reset an addition to just the overall weariness from working every weekend on the basement. We have inspections today, might go look at a car depending on timing, and possibly will pick up the flooring depending on rain. The majority of the day will just be spent relaxing.
