Two weeks to my oldest daughter's wedding.Two days until my first grandchild turns 9 months. About two months until the youngest graduates high school. And ten months since we got the news my oldest and only son died. I am a bundle of emotions.

DS13 just asked me what a "busy signal" is on a phone. Hark back with me to a time before voicemail and call waiting.

Melissa bought me lunch! She's such a good woman. :)

My 14yo told me I sound mad in my texts to her. Apparently putting periods at the ends of my sentences makes me sound mad.

I'm waring the shawl you lot made me to the Women's March today!

NY is a terrible state to homeschool in. Everyone says it's no big deal. So far that has not been the case.

Feeling whiny because I have a cold and have to go to work. Some pity would be nice. And if you could do the dishes, that'd be even nicer.

Halfway through dd's immersion camp, and she has access to her phone today! We've been texting since noon :)

My last year of homeschooling is beginning. I don't whether to be happy or sad.

My dd15 is a hero today. She rescued a little girl that was drowning while we were at the beach. I am so proud to be her mom.

I have decided that I am very, very, very fortunate.

Don't do what I did and write your child's height down on the graduation gown order form as a foot shorter than it really is.
