    Too much. We paid around $ 55,000 last year. I would feel better if the money were well spent and not wasted. ETA: in addition, we pay $6,000 a year in property taxes.

    I LOVE my Odyssey. It is an '04. We will be trading it in soon and getting a new '11 Odyssey. I wouldn't drive anything else! FYI - I have 4 kids in carseats.

    This is where I fall as well. I will teach my children about old earth beliefs, but will avoid things put forth by BioLogos. In explaining OEC to my children, I like the way Reasons To Believe frames their point of view.

    I don't think anger is a sin, but when you reach out and choke the person that made you mad, that could be a problem. :001_smile:

    Here is a large album of rear facing kids, many 3 or 4 years old. They fit fine sitting criss cross.

    We did Sonlight Science 2 this year with a 6 and 8 year old. Worked great!

    Everyone should read this blog and take a look at the crash pictures. If you question the need for car seats ala Freaknomics after that, something is wrong with you. :D

    Dress them in layers. The heavy coat comes off, they are buckled in, then you can lay the heavy coat on them for warmth. I know it is a pain, but truly, it could keep your child from being killed.

    The Graco MyRide or The First Years True Fit are great seats. They will fit you baby for a quite awhile, both rear facing and forward facing.

    I know that there is this wonderful Sonlight and WTM book list. Does anyone know of a week by week style instructor's guide that has been put together for the WTM history cycles? Thanks so much!!

    My friends with juvenile diabetes *really* limit carbs, including fruit. A diet like Primal Blueprint would work well.
