  1. You could have a curriculum sell -off with local homeschoolers.
  2. Agreeing with Aubree and Denise. I buy both used and new. I don't buy anything used unless it is close to half of the new price. When I sell, I list things at 1/2 of the new price. Why would I buy something used for $17.00 when I can get is brand new with a guarantee for $20.00? ETA -- IMO, it is better to get back half of your money. Something is better than nothing.
  3. Dinner at 6:45 when DH gets home. Outside for playtime from 7:30-8 Bath at 8 Bedtime at 8:30
  4. This http://www.amazon.com/Tweezerman-Shape-Shine-Nail-Tool/dp/B002HK2GWG/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1303173167&sr=8-3 Use the rough side to shape, the semi rough to smooth the tops of the nails, then the smooth side to buff to a shine.
  5. When you get cotton shirts done at the cleaners, they don't use chemicals. They launder them then press them, using starch if you like.
  6. Generally speaking, you are supposed to dress like the person/position you aspire to be. If he wants to get promoted, he needs to dress like the people in higher up positions. My engineer hubby wears Land's End Trousers with a button down shirt and tie most days.
  7. We washed and ironed at home until the third child was born. Now I take his dress shirts to the cleaners. He wears wool trousers and a tie each day as well, so those go to the cleaners too. Totally worthy the money! ETA: DH is an engineer too. If it makes difference, he is a vice-president in his engineering company and works with clients all day.
  8. Yep. Once I find something that works, I don't even look at anything else.
  9. The secret to a good gumbo is making a roux. This one has a lot of ingredients, but the process is explained and it really isn't that hard. Try Googling gumbo recipe video and see if you get something that helps.
  10. We loved it. The Sea World we visited was less expensive, $49.00. It was a visit anytime pass for that price too.
  11. IIRC, the Odyssey of the year has better rear protection in the case of a roll over accident. I vote Odyssey.
  12. It is a good skill to have. I got to use the  smiley when I replied to her, I haven't gotten to use it before.
  13. Clearly she didn't grow up in the south within a family that taught respect. :tongue_smilie:
  14. I think I'll have to move on the agree to disagree portion of the show now.
  15. If you were a close friend we might be able to compromise and go for Ms. Wendy. :D
  16. Because I find a child calling an adult by their first name every bit as objectionable as them dressing in immodest clothing. Again, for me, this is not about the adult, this is about the child.
  17. Google social-pragmatic disorder and see if any of the information helps you.
