  2. :iagree: This is absurd. I want my dds to respect themselves not try to be sexy at 5 years old. Scary!!!!
  3. this year. I tweaked it. I used the stackable drawers that others have talked about. I labeled each one by subject and attached Velcro dots to the outside. We started the day out with all the dots off. When a subject was completed a dot was placed on the drawer next to the subject label. I let my kids decide which subject to do when. It makes it easy to see which subjects still need to be completed. I included piano, AWANA and Bible reading. You can make it fit your schedule and preferences very easily. We all liked it this year.
  4. my husband watching this show. I think he is drawn to it because "Greg" is now on a serious show now.... "Criminal Minds"....what a contrast of characters.:)
  5. I would definitely leave a great review....and try to resend money with a note saying you were completely pleased with the purchase and thank her for her generosity.
  6. can be each others greatest support or worst critic....:001_huh:
  7. I buy it from Amazon and it is much cheaper than Target or Walmart. You get 3 Pro-x items in a kit: Under eye moisturizer for day and night, a morning moisturizer w/ 15 SPF (I use this under my makeup or by itself) and a night moisturizer. I have sensitive skin and acne prone skin and this work great for me. I put it on auto-renewal at Amazon. In the beginning I got it every month, now I get it every 2 months. I have found that I go through the night moisturizer quicker than the other 2 items.
  8. of what a monumentally devastating "business" this is....world wide. Thank you for drawing much needed attention to this growing problem.
  9. with fibromyalgia. I don't have any answers, but I will be watching this thread!!!:lurk5:
  10. last year my husband changed jobs and wasn't able to go on vacation. We had planned to join my extended family for a week at the beach. When he changed jobs and started over with no vacation time, I took our children. I much prefer for him to be with us.
  11. As long as I went 3 or more days a week I did great. My husband's work schedule changed and I wasn't able to continue going consistently. Mine wouldn't allow children at all, no exceptions.
  12. I will be watching for good advise from others as well.:lurk5:
  13. I have found that some people want to pay pennies on the dollar for what I bought brand new last year and used for one school year. I try to price things fairly (so it enables me to purchase more curriculum and so that it helps others to get a break and not have to pay full price.) Sorry that you have had these bad experiences with buyers.
  14. by someone licensed and ADHD is their "thing." When I taught in public school we had students on meds that did not need it and then there were those who needed it badly. For kids who test "moderate" to "severe" meds can be a wonderful help. If you find that meds will help, I would find one that doesn't change your child's personality.... that spark that kids have. Meds should help your child so that he/she can implement structures and systems in his/her life that make her more successful and less frustrated .
  15. I've done that a time or two putting things in laundry baskets (minus food). It is nice to have a room picked up even if it is all in a basket (or 4) in the garage. The sad part is when you forget you've done this and find the basket(s) months later.:D
  16. as I read this 32 counties in my state are under tornado watch (including the one we live in). So this evening we will be watching weather reports and taking cover if needed.:001_unsure: / So I guess that Arkansas is out!!1:iagree:
