  7. :grouphug: You have received great advice. Please take it. Don't be lulled into thinking if only I play nice and don't make waves, he'll come back to me. He's not your friend. He's having his cake and eating it too. He spends time with you and the new woman. Please protect yourself and your child and get a lawyer.
  8. You can take the SAT overseas. When registering online, simply choose your country and a list of all the available test centers and days testing comes up. Select the one that fits your schedule. HTH
  9. I wanted to like this program. I really did. We started with B and made it through to D but I felt as if something was missing. The best part of Spelling Workout for us was the editing. I just don't get this recommendation.

  11. My heart bleeds for her family. Nothing will ever be the same again. Praying for them.
  12. I'm so sorry. Maturity and wisdom comes with age. They WILL realize......... one day :grouphug: :grouphug:
  13. Gotta love that R&S. It's the only program we've stuck with from the beginning.
  14. Sounds a bit like my son. He has Auditory Processing Disorder. Verbal directions can be really difficult for him to understand. I have to ensure that he is looking at me when I'm speaking and have him repeat what was said. Sometimes I get some really wacky repeats. Never a dull day here! Hope you can get to the bottom of this.
  15. As a parent whose children were in a private school that used Abeka, I cannot recommend it. It does not teach children how to think. Higher level thinking skills are absent. If a student can memorize, he will look brilliant using Abeka. After he leaves Abeka and has to actually think or reason out an answer, the gaps in learning begin to show. I've only used BJU's Science but I find it to be excellent.
