  1. http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/clep/ex_ca.html Good luck!
  2. Aubrey, Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.:grouphug: Put the toddler on phone duty. :grouphug: I now often wish I had a little one to screen my calls.;)
  3. Now I want something with vanilla in it. :D
  4. I spend my money on good vanilla beans and use cheap old vodka.;) Katherine, You should come over for a cup of my homemade vanilla yogurt. LoL.. It is to die for. Be sure to bring your OJ.
  5. Whole beans and you scrape or kind of split them end to end. You can reuse the beans so nothing goes to waste. The vanilla gets darker and doesnt' take as long to make. And we turned the bottle every week or so.
  6. Having made a few batches I've found the more beans the better. fwiw, 7-9 beans per big bottle of vodka (not a gallon) produces a very aromatic and delicious vanilla.
  7. Since you all sound so blessed and they will be receiving gifts from family, I'd go with the gift of giving... Pick a charity and buy lots of gifts for children or a family that need them. Then have a big baking and wrapping party. Delivering the bounty would put the spirit of Christmas in their hands.
  8. :grouphug: Sending hope your way. :001_huh:
  9. :grouphug:Congratulations & Welcome Baby Owen Thomas:grouphug:
  10. Our state reg/law is strict...12 year old with weight and height requirements.
  11. Hang in there, it will get better with a little more time. :grouphug:
  12. I've had a Kenmore for somewhere around three years. (We replaced a GE that was 7 years old...hated it.) It works well and we run it at least once a day. Our appliance man said the same thing about most name brands being made with and by the same companies. They just don't last like they used to. I'm not sure about extended warranties. With the cost of machines what they are now, replacing is around the same $. And I'm not into throwing money into unreliable machines. :001_huh:
  13. Are you looking for a side or main dish. Two super simple and yummy veggie dishes are. Broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, onions (optional) rice and cheese bake. We also loved baked ziti topped with pasta sauce, and a few cheeses. I sneak cottage cheese in and spinach all the time. Spinach lasagna is also easy, but not a true casserole.
  14. We don't have any grocery stores that double coupons here and I don't use that many convenience foods. Sam's was a better investment for us. We buy so much there. (I did not, did not want to join Sam's and resisted for 4 years.) I do use my store flyer's and coupons to make up my weekly grocery lists. Walgreen's, CVS and Osco have programs you can sign up for on-line or in the store to stretch your dollars.

  16. Well I'm embarrassed to admit this but I'm going to read Don Quixote...even if it kills me. This debt goes all the way back to tenth grade and it is currently holding up my WEM book list. :001_huh:
  17. Their size chart is pretty reliable. They focus on height, but their customer service reps are helpful if you have any questions. I've almost always called them with my kid's height and weight ready and they were right on the money as far as sizing went. My ds almost always got/gets at least 1 1/2 to 2 years of constant wear and washing (He had eczema as a tot and his stuff gets washed every time.) and then we would hand them down to a cousin. fyi, Their sweat pants are the same quality as far as lasting through two tough boys. They have super sales a few times a year. They are great with returns and exchanges.
  18. My kids love these Hanna's. 100% super soft cotton and they last through kid after kid and wash after wash. http://www.hannaandersson.com/category.asp?id=boys%5Fsleepwear
