  1. Two weeks of feeling queasy, attempting to focus while trying to point my nose walking up and downstairs, with a headache was enough for me. I wont even mention driving, feeling like I couldn't see anything in my side vision. Bleck! My Dr. said to try them for 30 days and she would pay for new lenses...I said ..."Um, no thank you, this prescription is dangerous/wrong and I'm not wearing them." She did replace the lenses free of charge, but we are both less than happy campers.
  2. :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: Big hugs & prayers to you, it must be awful and I feel so sad for what you must be going through.
  3. That was a score! (Small white board with vis-a-vi wet erase (or non-stinky dry-erase if they exist) markers can be very helpful and enticing for writing challenges. It might be an easy transitional next step for later.)
  4. Drop the supplements and only participate in activities that bring you joy. Do the lessons (your core) daily, and prepare yourself for days you must leave the house. Doing too much often leads to poor quality. Over scheduling is something we can learn from, and many of us have. Make the lessons your priority and enjoy your little ones.
  5. Huh? One time I ran the self-cleaning cycle and swore...I'd buy a new one before going through that again. I wipe out spills and occasionally clean the window inside. The outside looks good, but I'm just now willing to suffer the alarms, smoke, cleaning the smoke smell out of everything and worrying about small pets and children.
  6. I think it's an odd way to justify not dealing with (and by effect endorsing) bullying in public schools.
  7. Oh, the poor kid. I feel a wee bit bad for you, but as the most challenged of knitters on the planet; I really feel for her.
  8. Snort... That candle sounds beautiful, but I do hope it is scented.
  9. Snort:lol:. I'd save that paper, and second extra credit for the use of purloining in #14. PS...I Totally get the sewing scissors, mine are off-limits for safety and territorial reasons.
  10. We pretty much just wait, but occasionally purchase a DVD for the kids if they will watch it more than once.
  11. Men's slippers often work, if you can find the right size. This is a great time of year to be slipper shopping. (((Feel better))) My dh (a runner) had this, and it took over six months to get better. He always wears something on his feet.
  12. I steer clear of any scented candles, for me they're a huge headache. :grouphug:
  13. I don't have a recipe, but the picture was beautiful and your sentiment so sweet. I hope he enjoys many delicious and nourishing smoothies.
  14. We've always done too many, but my family loves Christmas.
