  1. I've got my fingers in my ears....Lalalalala.... But yes, we've shopped, run our errands and are doing the laundry. Oh, and I have the heat cranked. I guess I need to get busy and check the flash lights and make sure the other things are done. We have a garage for the cars and no pets at the moment. Your list sounds daunting.... I hope the winds don't get too bad, but most of all...no loss of power. Stay warm and safe everyone. I was running errands at 8am this morning, it was pouring and a very pleasant 35':001_smile:. (That's warmer than it's been in ages here.)
  2. I knew I should have skipped this thread. My Amazon cart is too full already, and now has one more thing.
  3. I'll add that you can purchase the cards for EFTRU. The TM has you intro a card/root per day, then you review the cards. It's easy as pie to finish in a few minutes. VFCR is a a good solid workbook program, and is very easy to teach. My youngest prefers Wordly Wise, and my oldest VFCR. They both enjoyed EFTRU when they were younger.
  4. :grouphug:The headache will go away soon, and it will be worth it. I was sluggish and had a headache off and on for days.
  5. Pound cake is my favorite, but I'll eat it anyway.
  6. Target has one hour service and their photo cards are on sale with envelopes for 28 cents, no minimum. They also have a larger size for under 60 cents. They were so quick and easy...I just need to address the envelopes and mail them. There is still time!
  7. :grouphug:You are such a loving mom, hang in there. Hugs an prayers.:grouphug:
  8. They can be nice, if they aren't too long. Six pages is too long btw;); and I'm hoping no ones dog sends me a letter this year:tongue_smilie:.
  9. I want another red, black fleece lined, hip length coat, unfortunately the company stopped making the one I love. I'm also looking forward to new phones:bigear:. And I want a new robe and slippers of course.
  10.:001_huh::lol: Hope you find yourself fully rested soon.:grouphug:
  11. Happy Birthday, Jessie! You blessed so many of us, thank you.
  12. THe ugly reddish brown ones with a wood handle are made to work. The pretty ones never seem to.
  13. I'm glad you enlisted the help. Keep going, the party will be wonderful and the stress will end when the guests arrive.
  14. Take a fly-swatter and swoosh it at her. My sil's mil, used to use one or a stick.
  15. Depends on the kid, where you live, the time of year, weather etc. I wouldn't want a young kid waiting out in frigid/wet temperatures if the fire or carbon monoxide detector went off. I've had to shelter/help neighbor kids that we didn't know because they weren't capable of handling something. Locked out, creepy guys in van followed a girl home, and a lost kid who couldn't find her way home.
  16. I'm still chicken of the DIVA, but the pads don't gross me out. I do wash them daily and keep them in a draw string bag, that no one but me touches. I guess you could tag a container...Icky, gross don't look just toss:D.
  17. Mine are all natural cotton in off white. The colored pattern ones look cool.
