  1. Wow.... and then we think about why we're homeschooling :) Fun to figure it out! :)
  2. But, you're not suppose to use clay with other animals (dogs) around as it's toxic, right?
  3. The one I have, Julie, doesn't smell... Seriously, the multi cat one is great! :)
  4. There is Corn Litter and some others like that. Not organic, but not clay....
  5. Lady Comp is one of the choices that I'm hoping my (married) children will look at using. I had a friend who used it, and she said it worked perfectly for them.
  6. Good it went better than it could have!! Good to have people like you, willing to work in those situations :)
  7. Just my FYI... I would NOT use tea tree oil on pets. It easily transfers, and if you get it in their eyes somehow (and doesn't take a drop... just transfered) it is horribly painful. :(
  8. So sorry :( It is a scary place... but hopefully it'll be better fast!!
  9. Excited for you all. I always stand in wonder, when parents are willing to foster/adopt. Happy for a (possible) chance for him... and your family :)
  10. Boundaries in Marriage Rest times for all kids for a certain amount of time. (cds playing in rooms or whatever) Time at the park? Trading with a friend or having playdates? Asking your husband for Sat ams off? (Coffee by yourself or with a friend can be wonderful) Taking a college level class, even if not for credit, so your brain can work about 3rd grade level. Sometimes I feel like multiplication is all I'll ever talk about....ever again! :)

  12. But, it still hurts, especially coming from those YOU love and from the ones you pour your best into.... :(
  13. You might not want to shower him. He will put lots of fur down your drain. Furminator is what I'd get. I tried to link the BIGGEST one, which you would want. I think this would be fine for you :) I hose down my dog outside, in the summer. Then you want to brush them out when they are dry. (Or before and after, maybe?) I wouldn't have my kids do it without teaching/watching as I accidentally put welts on my dog with it the first time :( (Don't shoot me, it was a learning curve)
  14. 29 of 32. I ALWAYS get agnostic and atheist mixed up... Oh well :( Interesting to see what you know :)
  15. We had a wedding for about $3000.00; if you have a church wedding, do things like have a potluck lunch (where our part was lunch meat and special breads & cheeses), and then the cake, that would be almost enough... Maybe a bit more since ours was 10 years ago. We had a beautiful cake from our IGA store for maybe $100 or so? I purchased a beautiful cinderella type dress from a discount wedding store in PDX (Oregon)..... :) And... my ring is beautiful and from the pawn shop :) (And I looked around at different retail stores and chose what I loved best. And I absolutely loved the price!!!)
  16. That is so exciting! Good for you, for allowing some type of relationship ;)
  17. Oh, this is for Shao Lin Kempo & the Belt tests are $50, I think. There are also extra classes a couple of times a year or so... for about $30. We pay $115.00 for up to 5 classes a week and one private lesson (30min) a week. For the "private" it's usually with one other student. (So they can work together) After we purchase sparring gear they can do another hour of sparring lessons. :)
  18. Wow!! That's great!! :) I really know how it feels to shed pounds, feel healthier, wear smaller clothes, and want a .... well, fill in the blank for the treat! :) Good luck!! :)
  19. So sorry :( Do yourself a favor and take your laundry to the laundry mat... Buy the dryer later ;) So sorry that you're dealing with all of this :(
