My husband just had bypass surgery in February and has been at home for a few weeks now. Some things that helped here were: Shower caddy- we used to just use the edge of the tub for supplies but I didn’t want him bending over Scale- He still weighs himself twice a day to monitor fluid retention Power recliner or adjustable bed. He still cannot sleep lying flat so we bought a power recliner to sleep in. Since it was new, it was not very comfortable so we ended up buying an adjustable bed. Heart pillow-for coughing and chest support. He will likely get one from the hospital. His surgeon/nurses, etc can sign it. We bought an extra one for the car so that one didn't get ruined. It is made with vinyl. We got it at cardiacbear.com.

I think PT is going to visit him this week. I ordered a heart pillow. The hospital does not currently have any for him to use. Ordered a shower caddy that hangs on the wall so he doesn’t have to bend down to get stuff as our bottles currently sit on the edge of the tub.

I’ve seen a few articles online but many are pushing a certain product or suggest things I’m not sure about such as an elevated toilet seat with handles. I’m pretty sure using arms like that is not recommended. Any suggestions if you or someone you know has had a bypass? What helped make things easier? Thank you so much!

I wanted to keep up better on this thread but couldn’t. I am reading it all and taking it all in. I would not pull him from the group because of a crush, but because I don’t want my son painted as a creep. I don’t know how to describe the dynamic of this group but it is something. It’s 12 kids, private schooled (except my son and another girl we know) until it shut down before the school year started. My son didn’t know any of them except the other homeschooler until this school year started. After the talk from the teacher and other characteristics of the group, I could see them making my son the problem. The parents are intense. Interestingly, the girl changed her profile pic and took the “taken” quote off the day after I showed it to my son. I’m going to keep communicating with my son like we have been. I’ve told him I have no problem with him liking someone but I want him to respect the parents’ wishes. At the same time, I like the idea of pointing out the CRAY so he can stay away.😂

I gave up nevering a long time ago. 😂 The meeting would be to say “don’t insinuate my son is a creep.” I agree that it is totally normal for kids to like each other. I have no problem with that. I just want him to be the respectful one. I don’t think she is at all and I don’t want my son caught up in that.

Ds15 attends a small learning center. He and a girl there like each other. The teacher talked to me and told me she had a talk with them about not pairing off and school time is not relationship time. Great. Fine with that. The girl’s mom texted me las week and asked if I knew they liked each other. I said I just found out recently. She said her daughter is not allowed to date and she doesn’t want anything going on between them. Great. Fine with that. DS is not allowed to date yet, either. I had a talk with him about the whole situation and I told him I want him to be respectful. School time is not relationship time,etc. Then two days ago, her profile popped up in Instagram as suggested and her profile picture was the two of them. He’s in the background of the picture. Her profile says, “Taken ❤️“. I sent a screenshot to my son and asked about it. He said he doesn’t know why she did that. He also said it must be some other guy and I knew better because some “other guy” would not be happy about her in a picture with someone else. I asked if they have been communicating and he says only at school and volleyball. That she doesn’t even have a phone and uses her friend’s phone for her instagram. Today I get another text from the her mom with a picture of a phone and “I was wondering by chance if this is an old phone that belongs to you” What a polite way to say you think my son supplied your daughter with a secret phone. 🙄🤬 I know we’re going to have to talk about this, but I don’t know what to say. I already answered her text and all I said was it doesn’t look familiar. I don’t want to have to pull my son out but I know this has to be addressed.

On iMessage, you can click edit and then recently deleted, then recover the conversations you want. Then delete them again after getting what you need.

I was wondering the same thing. My 16 year old Cat died about 2.5 months ago and our other cat has been depressed. The neighbors had a feral cat give birth the same week he died. They are 10 weeks now and I finally got through my angst. I didn’t want to feel like I was replacing him but I want my other cat to feel happy again. Yesterday, I picked out Scout. Omg yes to this question! I am regular but now I have to get up way earlier and have the same issue. I also work part-time so on days I don't work I sleep later. Our restrooms are single-room only accessed with a key so it's pretty private but I would rather do it at home.

A roller coaster over here. I thought I posted here about my second interview and how I wore the same outfit as to my I first but was way underdressed? Anyway, I did not think the interview went all that well but was contacted a few days later and told I was selected to move to the background phase. But I really liked the first agency I interviewed at and the supervisor wanted me to start the background in August, if the position opens up for sure. I was sort of hoping the second position would turn me down so I would not have to go back a forth on what to do. I felt a little out of place there whereas the first agency, I could really see myself there. Agency #2 position for sure starts in September after a background starting soon. I wasn’t sure what to do and what just waiting to hear from HR for the second position to start my background. And fretting about having to tell agency #1. Well, yesterday, agency#1 emailed and they have an opening immediately and could I start the background tomorrow? I pick up the packet in the morning. I was hoping for something like this to happen! But, how do I tell the other agency I need to decline? I have not been contacted about starting the background yet for agency #2 but probably will be in the next few days. I am laughing because my first post in this thread was about how I have not worked in almost 30 years and not sure how this was going to go. Now I am turning a position down?!? Lol. I need help wording the email? Do I mention agency #1 or just that circumstances have changed? Help!

Oregano oil. This takes a week or two applied twice a day. It hurts a little but effective. I recently got some oil that is a moisture of black seed oil, castor oil, and rose hip oil. It also works and is less uncomfortable.
