BlsdMama
We usually use thin toilet paper - Scott 1000. 'Tis the time to have our septic emptied so I decided to go all out - Kirkland Premium, thank you very much. THREE clogged potties this week. My kids are used to using a LOT apparently to make up for the thinness. Sigh.  :P
ashfern
Mine clog up the toilet with the Scott so I never get the "good" stuff.
Selkie
I'm thankful that mine are all old enough now to deal with clogged toilets on their own. :)
Denise in IN
"And THIS is why we can't have nice things." Said all the mothers everywhere. I hope someone else unclogs the toilets for you. :coolgleamA:
ErinE
Once I moved out of my parents' house, I swore I would never buy Scotts again if I could afford it. I may grumble when my toddlers use too much, but it's worth it.
gingersmom
My mother was part of the septic tank police. We were only allowed to use Scotts.
mommyoffive
Oh my I hate think tp. Is that something you can't have with a septic?
Scarlett
Oh my I hate think tp. Is that something you can't have with a septic? We have a septic tank and never have a problem. We use charmin. The problem we did have turned out to be the toilets. Once we replaced those never another clog.
Carol in Cal.
Oh gosh, this reminds me. When DD was learning to manage her own toileting I taught her to look at the paper after a BM wipe and if it had any brown on it, wipe with another one. What could I have been thinking? I had to add a second point. If you use more than 5, flush the toilet before continuing.
Bambam
I'd move before I'd use Scotts. My dh bought that stuff. It was horrible. I just donated it (six years later) to a building that needed it. We use Charmin. This is our second house with a septic tank. No problems yet. Please, no problems ever.

Sharmin Strong is all we use. I'll cut corners on soaps, paper towels, cleaning products (I can make a bottle of concentrated all purpose last a year if needed) but I will not use cheap TP. Davysmom
What? I love Scott. I don’t buy anything else. I hate the thick soft stuff.
