SparklyUnicorn
to snack on? What are they like? I almost bought a bag today, but they were expensive so I'd like to get a sense for whether or not they'd be worth buying. Anyone like these? JIN MOUSA
I've found cocoa nibs to be similar to coffee beans. Not really my preference for a snack, but that's just me. I've heard of using cocoa nibs with cold brew coffee, and I think I could get behind that - like a mocha :001_smile:

JIN MOUSA
I love chocolate covered coffee beans. So this actually sounds appealing. I don't mind chocolate covered coffee beans, but cocoa nibs were different for me. I think the sugar part of chocolate is essential for me (I prefer milk chocolate to dark), so that may be why I'm not a fan of the nibs - they're much more bitter and less sweet than I like chocolate to be.
zoobie
Do you have TJs? If you hate them, return them.
Miss Tick
I bought them at one point for a brownie recipe from Scharffen Berger. The brownies were fine but did nut inspire enough passion to make them again, so the rest if those nubs say around for-ev-er. They were not at all speaking to snack on, without the sugar I don't get a lot if chocolate taste from them, and the grit gets stuck in your teeth.
Lady Marmalade
No. It's like chewing on twigs that almost taste like chocolate. I don't know why they caught on as such a hot item.
