busymama7
And can be ordered online preferably Amazon? We are going on a touristy type trip in a few weeks and I'm feeling the crunch to break in new shoes ASAP. I will be wearing jeans and an issued t shirt for each day. Maybe Capris if it's warm. Last time I wore athletic shoes and I can again but I need new casual shoes anyways so this is a good time/excuse for some nicer shoes. I don't have time for in real life shopping. I wear a size 8 and will likely be wearing regular straight leg jeans not skinny jeans. Thanks! Edited March 18, 2017 by busymama7
HollyDay
Do you want sandals or closed toe shoes? For sandals: Chaco, Keen, maybe Merrell For closed toe: Keen, Oboz (not the heavy duty hikers, but I have a pair for walking I like), Merrell has a nice selection of trail shoes that are good for walking, What do you wear for "tennis shoes"? I like Brooks for my standard walking shoes Some people really like Vionics. For me, it depends upon the style....I like 1 but not the others Dansko has some great walking shoes. Dd just discovered them recently Alegria? Ecco?
stephanier.1765
Living in Florida, walking shoes equates to sandals. I bought these two years ago to go walking around DC, Philly, and NYC and they are still the first thing I grab when needing good shoes for walking.
busymama7
Since I live in NV sandals would get the most use long term for me but I'm not keen on wearing them with long pants. Edited March 18, 2017 by busymama7

Dd just discovered them recently Alegria? Ecco? I looked at a lot of these and am mostly seeing what I mean by athletic shoes. My current ones are Adidas or something. I can wear them but don't want to. I would like something that doesn't look like athletic/gym/workout/tennis shoes. My sister did this recently and got cute boots that worked great for her but since it's spring and I live in NV, something less winter like would be my preference. But I am really clueless on what is out there and what will look good with jeans/t shirts
Kassia
Would these work? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DW1PVE4/ref=twister_B00DW1PEF0
wintermom
How much time/distance per day are you typically planning on walking in this cute shoes? Do you want your body to feel good after all the walking, or be in pain? If you walk a lot and don't want pain, walk in the Adidas.
PeachyDoodle
I love, love, love my Lands' End flats (similar to this)!! Mine are a few years old, so not exactly the same but very close. I wear them anywhere I am going to be on my feet a lot, with or without socks. They are cute with pants, shorts, and skirts.
Forget-Me-Not
I have these in two colors and love them. Super comfortable: Ahnu Women's Gracie Pro Mary Jane Flat, Chocolate Chip, 9 M US https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LZZLEWW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_N0BZybF80A5KD I think that style is discontinued because I can't find them at Zappos anymore, but Ahnu has some cute similar styles.

TABmom
I really like the Sketchers Go Walks. My knees used to hurt all the time, but since I started wearing the Go Walks, they don't hurt anymore.
