Would you drink this?

A college student brought me some tea from Morocco. It's loose tea, in a little plastic baggie closed with staples. It has all kinds of stuff in it... green tea leaves, little sticks and herbs and spices... it smells amazing but it looks a little... dusty? Then again, loose tea can be that way.

I have no idea what kind of a place she purchased it from. I guess my American-ness is showing but I am not 100% sure if I should drink this stuff. It seems so unregulated. LOL. What do you think?

I would.  I've had the pleasure of drinking local teas from all over the world.  One of my favorites was sold on a remote island in little stapled baggies.  It was an herbal concoction from that island.  Lovely taste to it.

Tea doesn't usually frighten me, especially if the place is well known for it.

Yes, I would not hesitate based on your description.

This reminds me of a time when I was visiting a "slum school" on my first trip to India.  (We were there to donate some books and money.)  They offered us tea, and I was a little doubtful because of the water source.  The rich lady with us said, "drink it, it was made with love, it has to be good for you."  So I did, and I'm alive to tell about it.  ;)  It was very nice tea.
