Stressed out by a client voice mail I need to return.  You know, the kind that says "call me as soon as possible" without any explanation.  I think I know what he wants, though.  I got an email from his assistant yesterday, late afternoon, asking for a number ASAP (a number that will take a little time to compute).  He's one of those people who always acts like there's a fire.  Not my favorite thing early in the morning.

Today's list as of now:

  • Some school paperwork.  [done]
  • Kids up & off to school.  [done]
  • Clean out guinea pig cage.  [done]
  • Take out garbage.  [done]
  • Clean kitchen, bathrooms and some clutter.  [done]
  • Work and exercise.
  • A little reading.
  • Laundry.
  • Clean some more clutter.
  • Kids' work.
  • Kid to gymnastics.
  • Read-aloud?
  • Kids to bed.
  • Work.

Well, I hope I am done with the fire alarm client.  I left him a voice mail after I sent him the numbers I think he wanted.   Hopefully he doesn't actually need to talk to me.

Then I got a call from another client, asking me all kinds of questions about a report I didn't prepare regarding an 8-year-old transaction I know nothing about using a new government system I don't understand.  :P  I decided to be brave and not let it go to voice mail.  Not sure whether that was a good idea or not.  Came away with a bunch more work to do.

Now I need to send out a bunch of small, time-sensitive things.  Year end stuff = seasonal stress, yippee!

I was good - I threw out most of a large pie and two bags of chocolates that nobody needs to eat.  I feel thinner already.  :P
