It's the election day equivalent of the fake fire at Christmas....but as with the fire, oddly soothing. This morning the baby was miserable with the flu so my two older children sang to him until he fell asleep. How could I care about anything else? My dh came home from a meeting this evening and wanted to see the news. I put it on for about ten minutes and got too nervous. Switched over to the weather channel.
