My dad took her to Mexico, and told her not to worry, he'd had 4 years of spanish in high school. He didn't mention that it was the same spanish class 4 times, that he kept failing! They got totally lost, their dog kept eating their food while camping, etc etc. When my dad kept trying to ask one gas station attendant where they were, the man would just keep repeating the name of the gas station...on and on like that. I don't remember that aspect of it, but I'm sure that's one crazy story. My favorite Ambien story: I'm a pharmacist so, of course, we always ask patients to list their allergies. While reviewing a patient's listed allergies, he claimed to be allergic to Ambien. When asked what it did to him, he said this, "It makes me take off all my clothes and run down the street naked."
