Maybe someone else could suggest anything valuable that will promote public speech, etc. or maybe even a very nice story. Anything you know. it just should not exceed more then 10min. The Duel by Eugene Field The Owl and the Pussycat by Edward Lear (might not be entirely suitable, since the term of endearment for the cat has an entirely different meaning nowadays, and I'm not sure how savvy her class is) The Crocodile by Lewis Carroll Here's a link with poems kids like.
