AnnE-girl
I just saw that this was trending on Facebook and now I want cheese fries and a chocolate malt to celebrate. Anyone observing this "holiday"?
SparklyUnicorn
Sounds like my kind of holiday!
Slache
I'm doing a whole 30, but otherwise I could really get into a holiday like this.
Slache
Brownies to be specific. Dark chocolate brownies that are only about 90% cooked.

Spryte
Drooling. I'm doing a version of the Tim Ferriss eating plan. Cheat day is Sat. Can't wait!

Pink and Green Mom
Oh good. I no longer feel guilty about eating a large portion of a huge bag of Smart Food popcorn.
creekland
I had no idea, but we had hot dogs and Fritos for lunch, so perhaps we instinctively knew? I haven't planned supper yet. I was thinking light and from our garden... I might have to rethink I suppose. ;)
Annie G
I'm celebrating by eating Ben and Jerry's out of the container. Oh...wait. I do that every day. One of the best things about the kids all growing up is that I no longer have to hide or defend my ice cream and chocolate habits.
Spryte
Ok, that's it. I can't stand waiting for cheat day. Potato chips and onion dip here!

Professormom
Lol. I would love a Coke and a pizza. I never eat them anymore, but if I had to pick something to celebrate this holiday it would be an ice-cold Coca Cola and a Pizza Hut pizza with ham, pineapple and black olives. Now, I will go eat my salad. :crying:
AnnE-girl
Ok, that's it. I can't stand waiting for cheat day. Potato chips and onion dip here! Sorry to be a bad influence! I hope you enjoy them though :-)
creekland
I put Thousand Islands salad dressing on my cucumber for supper tonight. Does that count for anything? At least we had the hot dogs and Fritos (+ Mt Dew) for lunch. We'll count that as our celebration.
FaithManor
I ate a dingle dorrito. That said, I was not aware of "National Junk Food Day" so I wasn't commemorating anything, LOL.
creekland
I ate a dingle dorrito. That said, I was not aware of "National Junk Food Day" so I wasn't commemorating anything, LOL. Details, details. We're soon to head to my hometown for my high school reunion and will be staying with my mom. That week is likely to be National Junk Food Week for us. My mom has never been big on eating healthy foods and when we're with her it's always Eat, EAt, EAT! :glare: However, when we spent the month together in the Bahamas I was able to make some headway into eating less (myself) and somewhat healthier. I guess I'll find out how much that carried over for a different time together. But... I'll also admit I've picked out a few of my favorite places to eat when we're up there and they include fish & chips (in Canada), a local sub shop (with terrific hard salami subs), and a fried chicken place. So... I'm not sure I'll be able to blame it all on my mom. It's just that she's going to expect three meals per day of a larger size and I kind of expect one of a normal size and a couple smaller ones. She'll also have her house stocked with treats of all sorts I suspect. Hubby will be happy. ;)
