alisoncooks
...is that this is THE time of year for researching and planning away the winter doldrums, and I have nothing to research or plan. I've clicked around CBD.com and Rainbow Resource, looking for inspiration. Nothing. It's a good problem to have. (I'm mostly in jest, though I do enjoy a good planning session now and then...) momacacia
:-) Take a long winter's nap instead.
Arcadia
I'm planning summer activities to cope with cabin fever. It reaches 100degF here and I rather stay indoors for summer.
alisoncooks
I should probably take advantage of this lull by doing something productive, like cleaning or meal planning. But meal planning does not have quite the same attraction...
Reefgazer
This is my plan. I'm pretty darned happy with where we are now, with just s few questions about next year. Maybe I'll post about that.... :-)Take a long winter's nap instead.
Hunter
 This happens to me every once in awhile. I actually get caught up on bills and buy some clothes. Spend some time reading vintage teacher training books.
Hunter
Research "Object Lessons" at google books. "Object lessons" was the vintage term for "hands-on". "Course of Study" will also bring up some interesting books. "Observational geography" "oral composition"
Roadrunner
Same here. We just keep on going with our current choices. Nothing new to plan.
Hunter
Go through all your eBooks and organize them into subject folders on a thumb drive. Learn how to use your pdf software to remove and add pages to a pdf. Learn how to print in booklet form. Now that you have learned to make booklets, go through all your nicely organized eBooks and pluck the best pages from each of them and create little books that you will actually use. Create pretty cover pages for them. This is the stapler that I use. http://www.amazon.com/Swingline-Heavy-Stapler-Sheets-S7039005/dp/B0006HUPU2/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1424316675&sr=8-5&keywords=heavy+duty+plier+stapler
Peaceful Isle
I've done the same thing the past few days. Looking at different sites hoping something will jump out at me that I've never seen before but will be just perfect!! 😊 I'm trying to plan for next year, but it is kinda hard. I plan two ways.. The poor way and the rich way. Lol

sdobis
I love that it took me a few hours to buy next year's curricula. Thankfully I am planning my daughter's science through living books and activities. This will keep me busy when it's 1° outside.
Mommy22alyns
Yes, exactly! I love everything we're using, so it's just buying the next level, but that means my shopping is done, it's just a matter of clicking that BUY button! go_go_gadget
I don't have a ''planning season'' because I really ought to be in Planners Anonymous; I'm never not planning all of the curriculum we'll use for the rest of ever. I'm not married to my plans, though, so it's okay?
Hunter
I just learned to scribble with white over text in a spreadsheet, in mac Preview pdf reader. Now the grid looks empty and I can write in an alternative topic/book. I may invest in some software that allows me even greater ability to alter pdfs.
