Mandylubug
Do you take Valentine's and/or some form of "love token" to close family if you live near by?
Spryte
Yep. We mailed valentines to the grandparentals. And the kids make them for one neighbor, to whom they are close, along with a ton of others. We mail some, and hand deliver some. In fact, we are dropping some off at lunch time today! marbel
When they were little, they did. When my son turned 10? 8 maybe? he said no more valentines. My daughter lost interest too. We didn't push it; I'm not much into valentines for all; I think of it as a day to celebrate romantic love.
redsquirrel
nope. We don't really celebrate stuff like that. I might make brownies for us tomorrow, but that is about it.
Hwin
We're going to see grandparents tomorrow so we will probably try to make something ahead of time. It's not a family tradition, but my parents treasure their art projects so we keep them coming ;)
zoobie
No. When they were in preschool and made cards for classmates, sometimes I'd make extra and mail them, but not always.
Hilltop
Yes, my dds made cards for their grandparents. We mailed them off with a recent photo of the girls.

Laura Corin
No. Valentine's Day is for couples around here, as far as I know. But Husband and I don't celebrate it.
carriede
Yes. Both the kids and grandparents love it. My grandmother always sent my siblings and V Day cards, and I always enjoyed receiving it.
LifeLovePassion
no. by the time I think of that stuff, it's too late. This year we are in the midst of a remodel so most of that kind of stuff is on hold.
texasmama
No. I got old and tired and left off on all these fun things. Little dd made a Valentine for only me without my knowledge or help. That is it. We are the original unfun bunch. ;)
Baseball mom
I generally make a photo card for the grandparents. Some years I have printed them off myself but most years I do a card thru Walgreens or somewhere. Usually has a coupon code to make a personalized card pretty cheap. Susan in TN
One grandma always gets something nice because it is also her birthday! She is the sweetest, though, and always sends a little something to her grandkids - candies or stickers or something. Otherwise no - as a PP said, by the time we think of it, it is too late to send anything. Sometimes we will email a photo of the kids saying "hi". HS Mom in NC
Every now and then when they were little. Not as a regular thing.
Grover
nope.. valentines is for couples here, not for kids. And not really celebrated by overly many grown ups either.
