Perogi
I have the night alone with my two daughters, ages 8 and 10. I'd like to find a good movie to watch with them...maybe something that wouldn't be enjoyed by or wouldn't be appropriate for their 6yo bro since we have the chance to watch without him. It would be even better if I could find it on Netflix!
gardenmom5
wonderworks version of "a little princess" (it's the closest to the book) it looks like you could even watch it through imdb.com
Ameena
Any of the American Girl movies would be good. We like the historical ones best - Molly, Kit, Samantha & Felicity. Of those, Kit is probably my favorite - great story, and GREAT music!

Chris in VA
Nim's Island! Some scenes may be a bit intense for a 6yo.
JFSinIL
Enchanted, Ever After, Tangled, Frozen, National Velvet (Elizabeth Taylor version)....I suppose they are too young to introduce Mr. Darcy ;-)

Perogi
I caved to their wish for Princess Diaries. Not my favourite. We've seen A Little Princess, Arrietty, Kit, Frozen, Tangled, Enchanted (although it's worth another view!), etc. I forgot all about Ever After!!! That will be next time for sure. As I long for the age to introduce Mr. Darcy ;)
