Danestress
I love them. A friend turned me on to them, and I have a serious organic frozen cherrie obsession. So of course now Costco isn't carrying them. Do these go in and out of stock? Are they seasonal! Is there any hope at all?
pink&bluemommy
Oh no! We love them too. Pretty sure I just bought some. Were they hiding them on the end? Happened to me one time with the strawberries.
Lara in Colo
Sometimes the store you normally shop at will stop carrying something, but another 10 miles away will have it. We love the chicken patties, the store near Dh's work stopped carrying them, but the one between his work and the house still has them. KatieJ
Just today they had an open freezer with frozen berries and cherries in it over by the fruit.
aggieamy
I've had a few things I love randomly disappear and come back. A week ago I was looking for the lasagna there that I LOVE and they didn't have any. They didn't even have the spot for it. I was in a panic. I asked an employee and they said it was seasonal. :glare: Lasagna is not seasonal. Another employee said that it was probably just out of stock that week. Now I'm going to go tomorrow and get cherries. What have you been cooking with them?
Danestress
I did drive to the other Costco in town to see if they had them, but no joy:(. They have the mixed fruit, but no bags of just berries. Hopefully they wll reemerge.
Indian summer
So I'm curious how you use them. Do you just thaw and eat or are they best some other way?

zoobie
There's a form at customer service where you can request an item that has disappeared. Fill it out every time you go! I hope they're still at our Costco. They are delicious!

Danestress
I am jealous you all have them. And to answer the question, I just snack on them, one at a time letting them sort of thaw in mouth. Just a handful last a while and keeps me from late night pig outs. I am a baaaad late night eater. LaughingCat
I had lemonade disappear and was told it's because seasonal - now, months later, it's back.... really Costco, Feb is not lemonade season!

simplemom
Our Costco carries them in spurts. I don't need them right now, but saw they had them in stock last Monday. However, they were out of the frozen wild blueberries that I do need at the moment. We had this for breakfast this morning even though the temp outside is below freezing: 2 frozen bananas, a handful of flax seeds, a tsp of vanilla, about 1/2 cup of soy milk, and about a cup of Costco's frozen cherries. Blended until smooth and creamy in the Vitamix. Split b/n 2 kids and myself, and topped with crushed walnuts. That is the best breakfast in the world. My husband has refused to eat all non breakfast meals the kids and I love for breakfast, but the cherry banana swirl with Costco's frozen cherries converted him, so I will likely make this again when he is home for breakfast tomorrow. The cherries are great just defrosted slightly and eaten plain just as well. I also make cherry muffins with them. I sure hope OP's Costco restocks them soon. However, they were out of the frozen wild blueberries that I do need at the moment. No blueberries would cause chaos in our house. We go through 2-3 bags a month. Every time I buy them, I think of how much we're not saving for college because of the cost of blueberries. I really want some of those cherries now. Mmmm. umsami
Our Costco had fresh Organic blueberries…and I bought 3 cartons. I kinda splurged…but man, they were so good. (And yes, I bought them Wednesday…it's Friday afternoon….and they are all gone.)

sarahbobeara
I came home with cherries from Costco today because of this thread! I'm going to have to see if our Costco carries them. I'm VERY interested!
BlsdMama
I moved from having three Costco within a semi reasonable driving distance to OnE. In the state. One in the ENTIRE state. This has been traumatic for me. I went there today. It's approximately an hour and a half. No cherries this week, but they did have pomegranate avrils and that was a worthy consolation. However, bit having Colby Jack Tillamook cheese is really inexcusable. Can you even call yourself Costco without it? I re-upped my membership today but I'm wondering if I should have made it contingent on the cheese....
BlsdMama
I stand corrected. Two, but one is three hours away. ;)
