scrapbookbuzz
Sick today. :( Aiming for rest, some of my own homework, and scheming ways we can move to the mountains. B-)
ScoutTN
We're back from worship and have had lunch. Just rest and play until around 4 to make dinner. Dinner is roast chx and veggies. After dinner we watch Nature on PBS, then DH puts the kids to bed while I watch Downton Abbey. Not all Sundays prove so relaxing, but this one is. Kids are outside playing in 50 degree sunshine - the only nice day we're likely to have for a week. I need to get up early tomorrow to pack backpacks and lunches - we have a whole day of out and around tomorrow. :( I'd rather stay home and do school. foxbridgeacademy
Both my mother and my 3 y.o. nephew are in the hospital today so I'm spending a lot of time on the phone relaying info to various family members. When not on the phone ... wash dishes (remind DD to put them away) scrub the entire kitchen (new to us house is NOT in new condition) unpack some more boxes. Figure out something for dinner that everyone will actually eat. That's it, if I can get that done I'll be happy.

KrissiK
Human care including a shower done! Ahhhhhhhh! Pet care done My family is all at church and the animals are all sacked out, so it is so nice and quiet! I love it when that happens. Well, today so far we had church, I ran to Walmart after church while the kids and dh were socializing after church. I don't like to socialize. I love the people at my church, but I just don't do small talk very well. Had lunch, now I'm relaxing on my couch with my iPad while dh gets our oldest DS out of a tree. Later this afternoon I'll bake bread and cinnamon rolls. My mil fell, and hurt her knee(she's getting increasingly fragile), so I want to bring them some soup and bread tomorrow. I like to shred the bills without paying....:) Nice, slow day. Church, dh built little fence in F78 (it's spring in CA), went to gym, studied and now I am cooking and shortly will be eating. What could be better?
swellmomma
went back into work for 2 hours after dropping the teens off at a friend's place. Littles came and sat in the diner while I worked. Came home, made a beef stew for supper. It's been a while since I have cooked real food in my own kitchen. We have to leave soon to go pick the teens back up (friend lives 30 minutes away). Then hopefully I can actually tackle the chores I decided to do today. I guess I could decide to let them freerange it and hitch hike home, that's a skill they have not yet developed. What could go wrong?
