Alia_in_FL
How early do "the sleepies" attack during first trimester of pregnancy? ("sleepies"= sleepy/tired/craving naps) How early does this happen?
Tita Gidge
That's how I always figured out I was pregnant! So for me? Pretty darned early ;) LOL.

Um_2_4
Ditto for first thing... ie day before I go out and buy a test LOL
MomtoCandJ
Like the week I found out. Which was before I missed my period. Still really sleepy at 6 weeks
Janie Grace
Almost immediately. Seems like it went... a day late, BooKs sore, and then (maybe three days later) -- utterly exhausted until the second trimester!
Mom in High Heels
Almost from the moment of conception for me with all my pregnancies (I've had 8, but only 2 resulted in births). I was tired the entire pregnancy. Of course I was also tired pp from getting up all the time. To be honest, Han Solo is 2 and I'm STILL tired every day. :)
Cinder
That's how I always figured out I was pregnant! So for me? Pretty darned early ;) LOL. Me too! :D And it lasted my entire pregnancy. I needed to take a 2-hour nap every day while I was pregnant.
Sahamamama
For me, for both pregnancies, it was immediate, as in by Week 1 or 2. When we conceived the twins, my husband knew I was pregnant when I kept disappearing. He'd come look for me and find me sacked out in bed. LOL. How sleepy are you? ;) Twins. They can happen to you.... :leaving:
Wendi
For me, by the time my period is due, I'm walking around feeling like I've been shot with a tranquilizer dart. This lasted at least through the first trimester, as I recall.
Heatherwith4
It happened pretty early with all 3 of mine. It was one of the reasons I tested with DS8. :)
Mommy_of_4
Almost immediately. I still have it bad at 35wks.
Forget-Me-Not
That and crabbiness were the reason I tested last time ;).
Tap
Within the first couple of weeks.
VeganCupcake
I don't have that symptom yet at 5 weeks and something. I have a touch of insomnia at night, though. And the crabbiness--oh, I have that in spades.
BarbecueMom
That and crabbiness were the reason I tested last time ;). This was the opposite of what happened to me. I went from constantly exhausted and irritable and borderline depressed to suddenly wanting to get up and do stuff! It was such a drastic change that I tested before almost giving away our crib. The hormones have me completely wired this time around, when I'm feeling well. DH is trying to rebuild the deck and has to keep chasing me off from doing the work. I'm fully expecting a huge postpartum crash and burn.

I ovulated on 5/31 and my preovulatory temps were 97.4 and 97.5 ish and now post ov they were 98.1 every day from 6/1 until 6/9 and on 6/10 they leaped to 98.4 and today it was 98.5 and I'm sleepy and my boops hurt much more than usual, so I'm thinking we may have conceived. history_junkie
It hit me hard at 10 DPO. I thought i was just recovering from a long weekend when my husband was ordained, but it wasn't THAT tiring! I was sleeping in and taking two hour naps for several days before I finally tested at 15 DPO :)
