Remudamom
Forgive me, but how does it work? Is it free? Where/how do you download it? I'm a computer idiot.
cjzimmer1
I've been using it for close to a year now and mostly I'm pretty happy with it. Right now I have 2 complaints. One is that when I'm looking at this week's menu, if I swipe to look ahead or behind a week, it moves to that week but then immediately closes the window. So If I actually want to see a different week, I then have to reopen the window. Not the end of the world but very annoying when I'm trying to quickly see "when did we last have _____". Also tied into this is that it would be nice to be able to see a whole month at a time. I asked the developer about it last winter and was told it was something being worked on but so far I haven't seen hide nor hair of that feature. But otherwise I've been pretty happy with it. Halcyon
I wouldlike to see a month at a time too, for sure. But i write in allin my calendar anyway, so i can see it there.
Halcyon
Forgive me, but how does it work? Is it free? Where/how do you download it? I'm a computer idiot. It is an app for $5. In itunes....
dbmamaz
I have had that app for over a year - it was the first thing I paid money for. I feel like I couldnt live without it. Esp because i have a lot of food allergies to deal with so i have to alter every single recipe, but i can import or copy or type or whatever. i love the calendar. I love that i can put my own picture on the recipes. i cant imagine cooking without it - its so much easier than dealing with cookbooks, printing recipes, the binder i made . . . i rave about it all the time! Diann
I've been using Paprika for about a year and love it! I rarely pay for apps, but this one is well worth it. Now, if they only had an Android version... Diann
skeeterbug
Thanks for posting. :iagree: looks like a great app! I struggle with meal planning. Once you've got a grocery list can you print it or email it?
AKshanmar
Cool! I was just looking for something like this. I downloaded one, but as far as I can tell... each recipe is only allowed to have one ingredient.... hmmmm... might be operator error... Thanks for sharing. skeeterbug
If u have an airprinter u can print it, or email it too. I email the list to my phone. That's what I was thinking of doing, my phone is android and I don't want to take my ipad to the store. All the reviews in the app store are really good too. You are probably right and since you mentioned that, I checked the Google Play store and found it for my phone. Yay! Thanks!
WishboneDawn
I'm on an Android tablet and downloaded it. I think Chef Tap has me spoiled though. With Chef Tap you can capture recipes from anywhere with whatever browser you're already using, no need to open the app and use a special browser like with Paprika. Paprika seems likeextra work. Chef Tap doesn't have a meal planning function but the developers are working on one so in the meantime I think I might rather use it and a paper planner then have to re-enter all my recipes into Paprika and use it. dbmamaz
the thing about the meal planning is that you can click from today straight to the recipe, so you dont have to go find it. but it was the only one like it when i got it
Sarah CB
I've been using Pepperplate. I think it's free (can't remember as it was quite some time ago). My mom and sister use it too and now we can email each other recipes from Pepperplate that we can import into our own accounts. http://www.foodrepublic.com/2012/02/22/better-recipe-management-pepperplate
