You can use any of the free recording apps to record the memory work and then play it in the car. You can use an auxiliary audio cord in the jack if you have that or Bluetooth. Easy peasy! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

When Would You Go for Testing? Positive Update #72

I'm so sorry. Hugs to you. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk -
I'm an RN student, and we just covered this in my lab. Dark sodas are okay, even though many nurses - including my own nursing instructor who just taught us this! - prefer very clear, non-sugared liquids when a clear liquid diet is specified, but she admitted that was a personal preference. So I think you're okay with cream soda, but check with your (real, actual) nurse just in case. https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/in-depth/clear-liquid-diet/art-20048505 Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

When Would You Go for Testing? Positive Update #72

Is there any way to go to a lab that's closer to home? Especially since it's a simple blood test? I'm sorry you're going through these anxious times - early pregnancy after a loss is so difficult. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk -
more about my 1950s cookbook...how to kill vegetables

We went to my SIL's for Thanksgiving once (ONCE WAS ENOUGH!!!) and she put canned peas on to boil for 20 min. Canned peas are nasty anyway but after 20 min.? Ugh. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk -
I've gone back to nursing school full-time, so I told my family they need to help out around the house. After 12 years of my labor, they need to take some responsibility, too! My husband and I only have one daughter and she's pretty helpful. I did get a sweeping Roomba and a mopping Roomba to take care of the cat hair that accumulates, so they vacuum twice a week or mop once a week - huge help! My husband also bought a better vacuum for the carpets, which the Roomba doesn't handle as well as I'd like, and it's cordless, so it's easy to grab whenever we need to use it. Everyone is also keeping their clutter contained! That makes a huge difference in how you everything looks. We've been keeping up with everything for about a month now and I love it! Jimmy Fallon, hot dish, Update. Found my Lutheran recipe book from 1960.

Yes, I think Jimmy Fallon is a bit of a hot dish... ;) Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk -
My daughter had a '50s party this summer. All the girls dressed up and we served Jello salad, listened to '50s music, and hula-hooped. We did it in the backyard, so I didn't worry about decorations. My dad has a '57 Chevy Two-ten and he was supposed to come give rides, but it was leaking oil. :( It was a fun party with a fun theme! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

I intentionally trained my cat to act like a dog. He's a black cat and I thought it would be funny if he were my little black Lab. He was incredibly spoiled by me as a kitten, so he loves to please me however he can. He fetches, dings a bell for treats, eats anything, sleeps under the covers, rides in any bag or buggy he can get into, eats tiny Milkbone biscuits and doggy dentasticks, and goes through a puppy-sized Kong every few months. He's beautiful and I adore him unreasonably! Your cat sounds great. :) Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

Just keep in mind that disinfectants - even more powerful ones - need time to do their work. Spray and let them sit for the recommended time before you wipe them up. And focus on not spreading bacteria around your kitchen by cleaning from cleanest to dirty - don't while the sink with a dish cloth and then do the counter, for example. Girl, you have SOLD me on it! Add it to the list of things the Hive says we can't live without! :) Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

I love that! I think I'll get one - I needed to place an Amazon order that contained an add-on item anyway, so... We found a puzzle piece that the cat had chewed on, eaten, and then vomited up. Then the next day, the same cat vomited on the puzzle itself. We were done with that puzzle then. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's very special that your children had time with her so close to the end. I think sometimes we want the shield our children from our own grief, but it's okay to let them know how sad you are, to cry, and process your loss together as a family. Since she was so ill and ready to pass, that can make this less of a tragedy and more of a very sad thing that happened. Much love to you. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk -
I think that's awesome. We're hoping to have our daughter start riding our city bus this year. She's done it plenty of times with us, but she's ready to venture out with friends. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
