They said he was suffering from hypertensive encephalopathy and gave him some meds to bring down the blood pressure as well as some to take as needed when it gets high. He will see his doc Monday. No stroke, no organ damage, no heart issues...all the things you worry about with BP that high. I am so happy. He, of course, is all "I told you so," but I don't care!! I'm just glad he's ok. And the doctor told him it's not anything to mess around with. So I am happy. We'll go home soon and maybe he'll get this treated. FINALLY. Thanks for the support. Really. I told him I didn't care. I told him to go ahead and stay mad for a long, long time, about another 50 years would be good, and I'd be fine with that.
