RainbowSprinkles
.... to adjust to the time change. It's so hard to get going this morning... I'll just take this week to do some spring cleaning and decluttering instead. Anyone else taking this week off?
Halcyon
We're taking M-W off so the boys can go to hockey and gymnastics camp, although we will be doing a bit of work in the afternoon. We woke up late this morning and have only 20 minutes to get to camp!!
In the Rain
We can't afford to take the week off, but we are definitely off schedule!
DawnM
We can't really afford it either. Thankfully I am now doing a more independent curriculum right now.

elegantlion
We had a break in February, then a week of me being ill, which means lower productivity. Today we are watching some videos, reading a lot, and basically hanging out in the living room. Ds normally gets up at 9am, there is no way he's getting up at 9am today. We've all had insomnia lately too.
JessReplanted
We can't afford to take the week off, but I definitely feel 'off'. I'm still working on my first cup of coffee.
Wabi Sabi
Our entire town is on spring break this week. I still want to get just a little bit of schoolwork done, but most of the week is going to be spent getting together and playing with ds' friends who are normally in school all day long! QuirkyKidAcademy
We are at the grandparents' house this week. I told DS he either has to go fishing with Daddy or do school with me - an effort to keep him off the tv. Need I tell you he's helping hook the boat up now?!?! ashfern
I can't get started today so I'm giving the kids a day off except for karate. My 9 yo will be testing Sat. for her novice black belt so she has to practice this week. We're way ahead of the public school kids so we can afford to take some time off. :D
Stratford
We took 2 days off last week for birthdays are the grandparents are visiting for part of next week.....we can't "afford" to take time off this week but yikes! it was hard to get out of bed this morning. Time change is always hard around here.
kpnick in nc
I came here to find a thread on this topic to have that oh-good-I'm-not-alone feeling. :tongue_smilie: We may not take the week off, since next week is our planned Spring Break. However, we are definitely taking today off. Maybe we will get some Home Ec in...
Birkenkathy
We are sooo taking this week off. It is spring break here and I don't have to work, so no school. Woohoo! Kathy
swellmomma
We are not taking the week off, but I am keeping us on the light schedule we had going in February and slowly ramping us back up this week. The boys were at camp all weekend which means the next few days with ds13 will be rough so refusing to set myself up for failure. They are working on their science lapbooks, doing a writing assignment, a math lesson and then we are going to spend 1-2 hours doing badgework. A couple new kids moved into town down the street and my kids met them yesterday. They are eager to finish their work today so they can go play right at 330 when the new boys finish school. Spring break is not until the end of the month so we will work through until then and then determine what I want to accomplish that week
SailorMom
I was sooooooo glad this week is the local ps's spring break. I hate spring forward with a passion. Now.... Fall Back is lovely :)
Classically Minded
We are doing a "half-school" week, which is mostly reading and doing fun projects. I feel so "off" from the time change, so I just need to have a :chillpill: week!
