joannqn
What do you do with it? I'll make smoothies with strawberries, triple berries, and blueberries. I'll make blueberry muffins and occasional blueberry pancakes (boys don't like them). What else can frozen fruit be used for?

MamaT
We use it in oatmeal, muffins, and smoothies. I have one dc who just gets a bowl full and eats it. I also use it to make cobbler - super easy, yummy dessert.
Lily_Grace
We make our own syrup for waffles with frozen strawberries. :001_smile: We'll also use the mango and other exotic fruits to supplement dessert kabobs on the grill (fresh pear, pineapple and the like, but frozen fruit added, too). Daisy
We eat a lot of it frozen especially during the summer. Make smoothies. Mix with yogurt, cottage cheese, ricotta. My kids say it almost turns into ice cream if you mix it with yogurt. On top of cereal. Bake with it for cobblers and crisps. Heat on the stove and use for topping ice cream or desserts or oatmeal. Heidi
I make blueberry applesauce warmed up on the stove to replace syrup for our pancakes.
jujsky
I eat it frozen. It's good that way -- sort of like a popsicle, but better.
Lolly
cobblers. I should make one tonight!:D
sncstraub
I just found a recipe today that I want to try - about 1 c. frozen fruit in the food processor, then add about 1/4-1/2 c. coconut cream or whipped cream. It's supposed to be like ice cream. I can't wait to try it with frozen pineapple or strawberries.
Ali in OR
Dd eats frozen blueberries straight out of the freezer. I like to add a little vanilla yogurt and granola for a yogurt parfait.
myfunnybunch
We freeze blueberries, strawberries, peaches, blackberries, raspberries, cherries. By fall most of the freezer is full and we eat frozen fruit until spring. :) I use them for.... Smoothies or popsicles Blueberry or blackberry muffins or scones Blueberry pancakes Toppings for ice cream Toppings for pancakes or waffles or French toast Mixing in oatmeal Eating frozen for a snack--Sometimes when we're going for a picnic, I'll throw in a bag of frozen berries or peaches as an ice pack, then we eat them for lunch. Fruit salad Pie (mixed berry or cherry or peach, also frozen apples and rhubarb) Jam--One year I ran out of strawberry jam, so I used frozen strawberries to make another batch. Mixed in with canned peaches or applesauce :) This is our main fruit for the entire cold season until strawberry season comes around, so we use a lot of frozen fruit!
