Both, husband and father-in-law, are pastors and authors. I met R.C., Jr once in St. Louis. I didn't realise till recently that the Sprouls had moved to FL. Susie in SWVA Posted December 19, 2011 Share Posted December 19, 2011 As far as I know, RC's cancer is in remission. I haven't heard anything about it for several years. Denise was a very sweet person and hostess. Their house was always open. My husband used to play poker with RC and some other friends when they lived in southwest Virginia. In fact, one time they were playing poker on our front porch under an awning in the pouring rain and I was playing waitress taking them food and drinks!
