elegantlion
My mid-night rant. If you live very close to your neighbors, please don't blow your car horn at 2:30 a.m. as your neighbors may not appreciate being woken up by the blasted thing. If blowing the horn once does not work, blowing it 3 times will only piss off the neighbor, who is not too happy considering they already have insomnia and it was the one night they were sleeping well. Rant over. Insomniacs unite. :glare: ETA: 5 a.m. and I still can't go back to sleep. UGH! I dislike insomnia!!! Hedgehog
:grouphug: I feel for you - I don't sleep well either and our neighbours are, at times, noisy at stupid o'clock.

Ellie
:grouphug: I haven't had neighbors do that, but I do have some who start partying at 5 and are still going strong at midnight. :glare: Yes, I have the non-emergency police # and I know how to use it. You'd think that after, oh, 7 or 8 visits from the police they'd take the hint...although I guess I should be glad that they seem to have gotten over the mariachi band, the one with the loud trumpets which inspire the guests to "WOOHOO!!!" at the end of each measure.:glare: Insomnia here, too, even without the partying. argh. elegantlion
I can get close to homicidal in conditions like that. :grouphug: Oh, I was. Which is why I posted here instead of opening the window and yelling. They're really great neighbors, and I don't want to get labeled as that B***** next door. There is a strange car in their driveway and their car is the back part of the yard (we have alleys). Sounds like they had someone crash at their place. The times I have let loose in situations like that, I usually have to repent and apologize because they were having an emergency, they were doing a good deed by keeping a drunk off the road, something like that. I finally fell back asleep just as dh got up.

ChristusG
How rude! Yeah, I'd be ticked off as well.
elegantlion
:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: Is shooting a gun out the window frowned upon under those conditions? The only gun we own shoots tiny orange plastic pellets. Probably not the same effect.
