Cindy in C-ville
do I stay "Cindy in C-ville" or change to something else? What have you done about your WTM name when you've moved? TIA!
Jean in Newcastle
Since C-ville could be "Cindy-ville", I would keep it!
AK_Mom4
How about "Cindy who used to be in C-Ville"? or "The Cindy formerly known in C-Ville"? or "Cindy Exiting C-Ville" ? Maybe I just need more coffee!
Parrothead
Since C-ville could be "Cindy-ville", I would keep it! I like this. I didn't put my location in my username for this very reason.
Starr
We know you with your present name and it still works with the Cindy so I think you can keep it. :)
TXMomof4
I'm not in TX anymore, but I am still a Tx Mom. I say keep it.
angela in ohio
I just left it the same, though we moved to Michigan several years ago. :001_smile:
JenneinCA
My name stayed the same even though we moved to California.
Samiam
Keep in, who cares if location is wrong.....even better way to keep your true "identity" incognito, lol! Plus I have heard WTM only changes user names for "big" reasons...
TravelingChris
I started out in 1999 as Christina in NM, then Christina (or maybe Chris) in Belgium, then Space Coast Chris, then TransientChris. I will be changing it later this July because I am stepping down from transiency. ALthough my dh will be in the USAF for three more years, he plans to retire then and stay in our new home area. Cindy in C-ville
Okay, Gals! So "Cindy in C-ville" it stays! BTW, would love your prayers as we pack it all up. I'm anticipating a flurry of female emotions and male drivenness over the next 24 hours among our crew.
AuntieM
Whatever you decide, please don't change BOTH your board name and avatar at the same time!
Cindy in C-ville
Good point! :)
Heather in Neverland
do I stay "Cindy in C-ville" or change to something else? What have you done about your WTM name when you've moved? TIA! I couldn't change mine without starting over in posts. So I kept it. I don't like it when people change their screen names or avatars. I get all confused. :tongue_smilie:
Cindy in C-ville
I couldn't change mine without starting over in posts. So I kept it. I don't like it when people change their screen names or avatars. I get all confused. :tongue_smilie: Me too! And, of course, I don't want to lose my Queen Bee status! TN Mama
I'm not in TX anymore, but I am still a Tx Mom. I say keep it. And I'm now TN Mom - in Oklahoma! :)
knit247
Keep it. I wish I had. I was Laurie in VA. Then Laurie in Germany. For some reason decided I didn't like it and changed to FindingLaurie (goofy - I thought I was going to start a blog by the same name & deleted it after a few posts). Hated that so much I switched to knit247 - which I actually like. Still - I should've kept my 1st name.

knit247
Did your post count start over with each change? No - the Moderators (thank you!) were kind enough to merge my accounts for me. They did say that it would be easier to request a name change if I do this again (but I am NOT)!!! I am knit 247 forever... I think!
