Dayle in Guatemala Posted September 10, 2010 Share Posted September 10, 2010 For 5 years we have been homeschooling here in Central America and it's been one lonely time. We've been praying for a group of like-minded families that we can hang out with and get to know and maybe do a learning co-op together. Today that happened! We had Biology 1, Biology 2 and Physical Science. Someone taught 2 different art classes and a Mayan woman came in and is teaching weaving to our kids and even made them their own looms! We have an American woman who graduated with a degree in orchestra teaching piano, violin, flute, and trumpet and another Guatemalan young man teaching bass guitar and guitar. It was wonderful and I want to tell those of you on here thank you for your encouragement over the last several years and prayers.
